Abstract
satu.Kebudayaan ini diambil dari kebudayaan kerajaan Majapahit.Tetapi budaya
Bhineka Tunggal Ika,pada era globalisasi sekarang mulai tergerus dikarenakan
banyak budaya luar mulai masuk kedalam bangsa Indonesia.
Redesain museum Empu Tantular melalui pendekatan critical regionalisme
=====================================================================================================
Regional culture is important for a nation. Because regional culture is
forming the identity of a nation. Without the existence of a nation's culture will not
have the character or characteristics in his life. The urgency of the importance of a
regional culture is proven by the Indonesian state with the existence of article 32 of
the 1945 Constitution.
One of the most important research results on the formation of the identity
of the Indonesian State is the motto of the Empu Tantular in the Sutasuma book,
namely Bhineka Tunggal Ika which Unity in Diversity. This culture refers to the
Majapahit tribe. But the culture of Unity in Diversity, in the era of globalization is
now seen eroded because many cultures from other nation began to enter the
Indonesian nation. In this regard, the culture of unity in diversity needs to be
preserved.
One way to preserve culture through architecture is by making a Museum.
Museum. Empu Tantular Museum, a museum that stores various historical relics,
one of which is majapahit relics located outside the trowulan region. However, the
facilities at this museum have not been adequately seen from the large number of
collections that are not maintained as well as several other conditions that make this
museum less attractive to be a tourist attraction of the city by visitors.
The redesign of the Empu Tantular museum through the approach of critical
regionalism is expected to be able to revive this museum, while still having aspects
of localism and local wisdom from the Majapahit era or the Sidoarjo region.
