Abstract
Permasalahan dalam tugas akhir ini diambil dari permasalahan yang terdapat di dunia nyata, persoalan yang akan diseleseaikan pada penilitian tugas akhir ini berkaitan dengan keperluan pada rumah demi meningkatkan keamanan dan fungsionalitas tertentu. Metode yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan persoalan pada tugas akhir ini adalah pemanfataan teknologi IoT
Permasalahan yang akan diselesaikan yaitu permasalah jemuran agar bisa otomatis tertutup jika sensor mendeteksi keadaan sekitar tidak mendukung untuk menjemur pakaian, Lampu dan kipas rumah yang menyesuaikan kondisi di sekitar rumah dan juga pintu yang dapat diakses tanpa menggunakan kunci. Teknologi IoT yang digunakan adalah sensor-sensor(raindrop sensor, sensor suhu dan kelembapan, sensor cahaya), solenoid door lock dan juga motor servo yang nantinya akan dirancang dalam bentuk prototipe Sistem Rumah Cerdas. Dilakukan uji coba pada hasil implementasi alat-alat tersebut dan alat-alat yang diuji meningkatkan keamanan dan fungsionalitas tertentu dari suatu rumah.
Prototipe Sistem Rumah Cerdas diimplementasikan dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman C yang di compile melalui Arduino IDE dan menggunakan sistem database MySQL, dari uji coba yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa prototipe Sistem Rumah Cerdas telah berjalan dan terhubung dengan WiFi dan Website monitoring

The problems in this final project are taken from problems that exist in the real world, problems that will be resolved in this final project research related to the needs of the home in order to improve certain security and functionality. The method used to solve the problem in this thesis is the use of IoT technology
The problem that will be solved is the problem of clothesline so that it can be automatically closed if the sensor detects the surrounding conditions does not support drying clothes, lights and home fans that adjust the conditions around the house and also doors that can be accessed without using a key. IoT technology used is sensors (raindrop sensors, temperature and humidity sensors, light sensors), door lock solenoids and servo motors which will be designed in the form of prototypes of the Smart Home System. Trials are carried out on the results of the implementation of these tools and the tools tested improve the security and certain functionality of a house.
The Smart Home System prototype is implemented using the C programming language compiled through the Arduino IDE and using the MySQL database system, from the trials that have been carried out, it is concluded that the prototype of the smart home system is already running and connected to WiFi and Website monitoring.
