Abstract

Royal Medicalink Pharmalab (PT RMP) is a company engaged in various business fields, including the field of raw materials and pharmaceutical products, the field of raw materials and traditional medicinal products, as well as wholesale pharmaceutical and traditional medicine. PT RMP utilizes materials from nature, including snakehead fish (C. striata). In processing snakehead fish, PT. RMP produces fish dregs as snakehead fish extract waste. The fish dregs can be used as fish meal. The fish meal still contains protein with a value range of more than 50%, which can still be processed into pellets or fish feed. Snakehead Fish Extract Waste Flour (LEIG) which is processed into fish pellets will be added with basic ingredients with a combination of 50:50 (K1), 55:45 (K2), and 60:40 (K3) compositions. The combination was given 24 hours of fermentation. Then the pellets were carried out proximate tests in the form of tests for ash content, moisture content, protein, carbohydrates, fat, and crude fiber. Then the quality test on fish pellets was carried out, including buoyancy test, stability in water, breaking speed of fish pellets, and hardness test, protein digestibility test and Total Volatile Base Nitrogen (TVB-N) test. The test was continued with in vivo testing of ± 7-8 cm in size O. niloticus for 1 month in an aquarium measuring 60x30x30 cm. Each week will be measured fish growth in the form of fish body length and weight to determine the effect of pellet proximate levels on fish growth. Analysis of the data in this study in the form of Measurement of Growth of O. niloticus and Feed Conversion Ratio which will be analyzed using One Way ANOVA. From the research, it was found that the higher the concentration of LEIG flour given, the higher the pellet quality. The K3 combination had better results compared to other combinations, indicated by the proximate test results for protein pellets of 51.21%, and had an effect on increasing the length and weight of fish by 3.83 cm and 10.1 cm, and the nutritional content of meat protein by 9.49%. Physical tests carried out showed that commercial pellets still had better values of buoyancy, stability, hardness, and breaking speed compared to LEIG pellets. The lowest feed conversion ratio value was found in the K3 treatment, with a value of 1.41
