Abstract
PT. Puncak Jaya Power – Timika Papua adalah perusahaan pembangkit listrik tenaga uap yang memasok listrik utama khususnya PT. Freeport dan juga sebagian daerah setempat tersebut.Pada Standart yang sesuai bahwa setiap 2-3 Tahun sekali tergantung kondisi normal servisnya komponen –komponen pada PLTU PT. Puncak Jaya Power perlu dilakukan maintenance secara berkala atau Re-Sertifikasi yang akan menghasilkan data berupa Non Destructive Examination.
Remaining Life Assesment dan juga uji – uji lainnya yang sesuai kebutuhan report perusahaan untuk itu pada Main Steam Line Superheater Secondary Boiler pihak perusahaan yang sesuai standartnya yang mengacu pada ASME B 3.1 dan API 579. Pipe boiler tersebut bekerja sampai dengan suhu 510 °C .
Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah Main Steam Line Superheater Heater Secondary Boiler Investigasi awal pada boiler dilakukan secara visual. Selanjutnya dilakukan pemeriksaan struktur mikro (Metallography Test) untuk mengetahui kemungkinan terjadinya kegagalan dan menganalisa sisa umurnya. Pengujian Ultrasonic Thickness untuk mengetahui kemungkinan terjadinya degradasi nilai pengurangan ketebalan dari Main Steam Line boiler Dilanjutkan dengan In-Situ Metalografi dengan metode Neubauer and Wedel hasilnya akan digunakan untuk memperkirakan umur dari Pipe Main Steam Line Boiler tersebut. Remaining life Pipe Main Steam Line Superheater Secondary Header Boiler diperoleh 8 tahun atau sama dengan 70080 hours berdasarkan laju korosi dan nilai ketebalan yang diizinkan. Berdasarkan metalografi diperoleh remaining life sebesar 78564 hours dengan metode Neubauer and Wedel.

PT. Puncak Jaya Power – Timika Papua is a steam power
company that supplies the main electricity, especially PT. Freeport
and parts of the local area. In the appropriate Standart that every
2-3 Years depending on the normal conditions of service
components in the POWER PLANT PT. Puncak Jaya Power needs
to be done maintenance periodically or Re-Certification that will
produce data in the form of Non Destructive Examination.
Remaining Life Assessment and also other tests that match
the needs of the company report for it on the Main Steam Line
Superheater Secondary Boiler the company in accordance with its
standards that refer to ASME B 31.1 and API 579. The boiler pipe
works up to 510 °C
Sample in this study is the Main Steam Line Superheater
Heater Secondary Boiler The initial investigation on the boiler is
done visually. Furthermore, a microstructure examination
(Metallography Test) is carried out to determine the possibility of
failure and analyze the remaining lifespan. Ultrasonic Thickness
testing to determine the possibility of thickness reduction value
degradation of main steam line boiler followed by In-Situ
Metalography with Neubauer and Wedel method the result will be
used to estimate the life of the Boiler Main Steam Line Pipe.
Remaining life Pipe Main Steam Line Superheater Secondary
Header Boiler obtained 8 years or equal to 70080 hours based on
the rate of corrosion and the permissible thickness value. Based on
