Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang perancangan sistem perencanaan dan pengendalian
produksi (PPC) di pabrik air minum dalam kemasan (AMDK). Saat ini pabrik menerapkan
strategi positioning produk kombinasi antara make to stock dan make to order untuk
memenuhi permintaan pasar. Berdasarkan data tahun 2020, pabrik masih gagal memenuhi
target produksi yang disebabkan sistem PPC yang kurang memadai. Sistem PPC masih
belum mengakomodasi perencanaan kebutuhan material sehingga sering terjadi mesin idle
akibat material yang terlambat datang. Rancangan PPC menggunakan pendekatan Closed
Loop MRP yang memungkinkan adanya feedback dari output yang dihasilkan pada sistem
sehingga sistem dapat terus dievaluasi agar menghasilkan output yang lebih baik pada
periode berikutnya. Hasil penelitian ini berupa rancangan sistem PPC dari level aggregat
hingga perencanaan material yang mengakomodasi adanya perubahan pada permintaan.

This study discusses the design of a production planning and control system (PPC) in a
bottled drinking water (AMDK) factory. Currently, the factory is implementing a product
positioning strategy of a combination of make-to-stock and make-to-order to meet market
demand. Based on 2020 data, factories still fail to meet production targets due to an
inadequate PPC system. The PPC system still does not accommodate material requirements
planning so that engine idles often occur due to the late arrival of materials. The PPC design
uses a Closed Loop MRP approach which allows feedback from the output generated in
the system so that the system can be continuously evaluated in order to produce better
output in the next period. The results of this study are in the form of a PPC system design
from the aggregate level to material planning that accommodates changes in demand.
