Abstract

Laboratorium Konversi Energi merupakan salah satu laboratorium yang ada di Departemen Teknik Teknik Mesin industri Fakultas Vokasi ITS. Laboratorium ini berfokus pada riset, pembelajaran dan pelayanan hal hal yang terkait dengan proses dan peralatan pengubah energi fluida dari satu bentuk ke bentuk lain yang dapat dimanfaatkan. Jadi inti keilmuan yang dipelajari adalah: Termodinamika, Mekanika Fluida dan Perpindahan Kalor. Laboratorium ini terdiri dari 4 bidang keilmuan yaitu: Motor Pembakaran dalam dan Otomotif, Pompa dan Kompresor, Teknik Pendingin dan AC serta Peumatik dan Hidrolik.
Laboratorium Pneumatik dan Hidrolik merupakan bagian dari Laboratorium Konversi Energi. Adapun kegiatan yang dilakukan di Lab Pneumatik dan Hidrolik adalah sebagai berikut: Pneumatik dan Hidrolik,Pneumatics : Basic Level TP 101 dan Advanced Level TP 102 Praktikum dengan metode praktek merangkai sirkuit dasar dan lanjutan dan mempelajari cara kerja komponen – komponen pneumatik. Hasil dari petode yang telah penulis lakukan didapat delapan percobaan praktikum pneumatik basic level TP 101 dan TP 102. Percobaan satu dan dua merupakan percobaan silinder kerja tunggal dan silinder kerja ganda, hasil percobaan tersebut didapat apabila tombol START ditekan, maka silinder bergerak keluar. Silinder akan tetap berada di posisi luar, selama tombol START tidak lepas. Silinder bergerak masuk, apabila tombol START dilepas. Percobaan tiga, empat, lima, enam, tujuh, dan delapan merupakan percobaan alat tekuk plat, alat pembuat cap, pendorong silinder, alat pengelas silinder, alat pemindah benda kerja, dan tempat alokasi perangkat, dimana hasil dari percobaan tersebut didapat rangkaian sirkuit pneumatik

Energy Conversion Laboratory is one of the laboratories in the Department of Industrial Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Vocational ITS. This laboratory focuses on research, learning and services related to processes and equipment for converting fluid energy from one form to another that can be utilized. So the core sciences studied are: Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer. This laboratory consists of 4 scientific fields, namely: Internal Combustion Motors and Automotive, Pumps and Compressors, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering and Peumatics and Hydraulics.
Pneumatics and Hydraulics Laboratory is part of the Energy Conversion Laboratory. The activities carried out in the Pneumatics and Hydraulics Lab are as follows: Pneumatics and Hydraulics, Pneumatics: Basic Level TP 101 and Advanced Level TP 102 Practicing with practical methods of assembling basic and advanced circuits and learning how pneumatic components work. Pneumatics : Basic Level TP 101 and Advanced Level TP 102 Practicum with practical methods of assembling basic and advanced circuits and learning how pneumatic components work.
The results of the method that the author has carried out have obtained eight basic pneumatic practicum experiments at TP 101 and TP 102 . Experiments one and two are single-acting cylinders and double-acting cylinders, the results of these experiments are that when the START button is pressed, the cylinder moves out. The cylinder will remain in the out position, as long as the START button is not released. The cylinder moves in, when the START button is released. Experiments three, four, five, six, seven, and eight are experiments with plate bending tools, stamping tools, cylinder pushers, cylinder welding tools, workpiece moving tools, and device allocation places, where the results of these experiments obtained pneumatic circuits.
