Abstract
Teknologi 3D Print merupakan salah satu penerapan dari konsep Addictive Manufacturing , salah satu yang popular adalah FDM 3D Printer. Dengan 3D Printer dapat membuat frame RC, contohnya Frame Quadcopter, menggunakan material ABS dan PLA, diharapkan dapat menghasilkan frame yang kuat dan layak.
Untuk mewujudkan frame yang kuat dan layak maka dalam pengujian ini menggunakan 3 jenis simulasi, yaitu static structural analysis guna mengetahui efek pembebanan serta gaya thrust terhadap frame, serta menggunakan simulasi modal analysis guna mengetahui maksimum getaran eksitansi yang dapat diterima oleh frame, serta melakukan uji droptest analysis guna memprediksi frame jika dijatuhkan ke bidang datar dengan variabel ketinggian tertentu.
Melalui proses desain dengan software CAD kemudian memasukan ke software CAE guna melakukan simulasi lalu input material properties, input constraint serta force berdasarkan arah vector-nya lalu pemilihan solution. Setelah didapatkan hasil simulasi maka melakukan printing dan perakitan menggunakan masing masing filament (ABS & PLA) setelah itu melakukan uji droptest secara langsung dengan ketinggian tertentu guna membuktikan hasil simulasi droptest simulation.
Dari masing masing hasil simulasi maka diketahui nilai Von mises stress, Elastic strain, dan Deformation guna menjadi acuan penelitian frame quadcopter dengan beban tertentu menggunakan material ABS dan PLA, serta menjadi rujukan bagi penelitian berikutnya mengenai polimer lainnya.

3D Print technology is an application of the Addictive Manufacturing concept, one of the most popular is the FDM 3D Printer. With 3D Printers, you can make RC frames, for example Quadcopter Frames, using ABS and PLA materials, which are expected to produce strong and decent frames.
To realize a strong and feasible frame, this test uses 3 types of simulations, namely static structural analysis to determine the effect of loading and thrust forces on the frame, and uses a modal analysis simulation to determine the maximum excitation vibration that can be received by the frame, and performs a drop test. analysis to predict the frame if it is dropped onto a flat plane with a certain height variable.
Through the design process with CAD software, then enter it into the CAE software to perform a simulation and then input material properties, input constraints and forces based on the direction of the vector and then choose a solution. After getting the simulation results, then do the printing and assembling using each filament (ABS & PLA) after that do a direct droptest test with a certain height to prove the results of the droptest simulation.
From each simulation result, it is known the value of Von mises stress, Elastic strain, and Deformation to be a reference for research on quadcopter frames with certain loads using ABS and PLA materials, as well as being a reference for further research on other polymers.
