Abstract

Dengan pesatnya perkembangan dunia industri di Indonesia pada bidang teknologi dan pengaplikasiannya, wawasan dari mahasiswa tentang dunia kerja yang berkaitan dengan industrialisasi dirasa sangatlah kurang dikarenakan tidak bisa didapatkan secara langsung dalam materi perkuliahan. Magang industri merupakan salah satu mata kuliah wajib yang harus ditempuh atau diambil disemester tujuh oleh mahasiswa Departemen Teknik Mesin Industri Intitut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember sebagai bentuk pemahaman tentang permasalahan di dalam industri untuk mahasiswa demi menunjang pengetahuan baik secara teoritis maupun praktek, sehingga mahasiswa siap dalam menghadapi dunia kerja. Di kesempatan ini, Penulis memilki kesempatan magang industi di PT. Dua Kelinci selama 4 bulan.
PT. Dua Kelinci adalah salah satu produsen kacang terbaik di Indonesia yang terletak di Kab. Pati Jawa Tengah. Berbagai macam produk olahan kacang di produksi oleh PT. Dua Kelinci. Di dalam proses produksinya, PT. Dua Kelinci melibatkan 4 Thermal Oil dan 2 Boiler sebagai sumber utama untuk merebus, oven, menggoreng, dan dryer olahan kacang. Disini penulis memilih topik ini guna mengetahui perawatan produksi secara menyeluruh yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas produksi, mengurangi waste, meningkatkan kemampuan peralatan dari keseluruhan sistem perawatan pada perusahaan melalui nilai OEE pada thermal oil unit 3.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian selama magang, ditarik kesimpulan dari nilai OEE pada Thermal Oil 3 dari bulan September - Oktober adalah 77,41%. Nilai OEE perusahaan tersebut termasuk dalam kategori nilai dibawah standart Internasional dan ditakutkan mengakibatkan daya saing yang rendah. Diperlukan autonomous maintenance dimana merupakan langkah awal yang diharuskan oleh operator dengan cara melakukan pengecekan mesin sebelum mesin tersebut dioperasikan, sehingga dapat mengurangi downtime dari mesin tersebut.

On this occasion, the author has an industrial internship opportunity at PT. Two Rabbits for 4 months.
PT. Dua Kelinci is one of the best peanut producers in Indonesia, located in Kab. Central Java Pati. Various kinds of processed peanut products are produced by PT. Two Rabbits. In the production process, PT. Dua Kelinci involves 4 Thermal Oils and 2 Boilers as the main sources for boiling, oven, frying, and drying processed peanuts. Here the author chooses this topic in order to find out the overall production maintenance that aims to improve production quality, reduce waste, improve the equipment capabilities of the entire maintenance system at the company through the OEE value on the thermal oil unit 3.
Based on the results of research during the internship, conclusions are drawn from the OEE value on Thermal Oil 3 from September - October was 77.41%. The company's OEE value is included in the category of values below international standards and is feared to result in low competitiveness. Autonomous maintenance is required which is the first step required by the operator by checking the machine before the machine is operated, so as to reduce the downtime of the machine.
