Abstract

PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) atau yang dikenal dengan Angkasa Pura Airports merupakan pelopor perusahaan kebandarudaraan secara komersial di Indonesia yang bermula sejak tahun 1962. Proses Magang dilakukan di Bandar Udara Internasioal Yogyakarta yang mana merupakan bandara berkelas internasional yang dibangun dengan perpaduan arsitektur Jawa dan modern yang canggih, dibangun pada tahun 2017 dan dioperasikan mulai tahun 2019. Dengan berfokus pada bidang Airport Equipment, dengan sub-divisi ME (Mechanical Engineering). Divisi ME merupakan divisi yang bertugas untuk memastikan tersedianya kesiapan operasional seluruh peralatan mekanikal bandara (HVAC, Water Technic, Baggage Handling System, Passenger Movement System, Avio Bridge, Alat-Alat Berat bandara dan alat-alat mekanikal penunjang lainnya) yang dikelola oleh AP1. Pada kegiatan magang yang dilakukan selama 4 bulan dilakukan kegiatan maintenance peralatan mekanikal dan studi yang mana pada hasil studi ada beberapa penyesuaian yang dipelajari terkait sistem pendinginan dan tata udara ruangan di bandara. untuk sistem pendinginan dilakukan studi terkait efisiensi kerja dari chiller. Untuk sistem tata udara penyesuaian ini dilakukan terkait rekomendasi ASHRAE Indonesia perihal penekanan penyebaran covid-19 yang mana dikeluarkan dua pernyataan, yaitu : Penularan SARS-CoV-2 melalui udara berkontribusi cukup besar sehingga paparan virus melalui udara harus dikendalikan, termasuk pengoperasian sistem HVAC yang tepat dan benar, dapat mengurangi paparan udara. Maka dari itu dilakukan beberapa penyesuaian sesuai standar rekomendasi ASHRAE antara lain yang pertama memastikan ventilasi dapat memasok kapasitas fresh air sesuai standar minimum ventilation rates in breathing zone ASHRAE Indonesia. Kedua pengontrolan cooling coil pada AHU untuk mengatur suhu dan kelembaban relatif (RH) sesuai batas standar yang direkomendasikan. Ketiga adalah jenis filtrasi yang digunakan pada AHU. Lalu untuk studi efisiensi chiller didasarkan pada identifikasi dari alur kerja sistem chiller tipe water cooled dimana efisiensi dapat dicapai jika memperhatikan beberapa faktor, antara lain: Pengaturan Evaporator Leaving Water Temperature, Pengaturan Entering Condenser Water Temperature dan kebersihan evaporator dan condensor tube.

The internship process was carried out at Yogyakarta International Airport which is an international class airport built with a blend of Javanese and modern architecture, built in 2017 and operating from 2019. By focusing internship program on the Airport Equipment division, with the ME (Mechanical Engineering) sub-division. ME Division is the division tasked with ensuring the operational readiness of all airport mechanical equipment (HVAC, Water Technic, Baggage Handling System, Passenger Movement System, Avio Bridge, Airport Heavy Equipment and other supporting mechanical equipment) managed by AP1. During the 4-month internship, mechanical equipment maintenance activities and studies were carried out, which resulted in some adjustments being learned regarding the cooling and air conditioning systems at the airport. For the cooling system, a study was carried out regarding the work efficiency of the chiller. For the air conditioning system, this adjustment was made in relation to ASHRAE Indonesia's recommendation regarding the suppression of the spread of COVID-19. Therefore, several adjustments were made according to ASHRAE recommended standards, including the first to ensure that ventilation can supply fresh air capacity according to the minimum ventilation rates in ASHRAE Indonesia's breathing zone standards. The second is control the cooling coil on the AHU to adjust the temperature and relative humidity (RH) according to the recommended standard limits. The third is the type of filtration used in the AHU. Then the chiller efficiency study is based on the identification of the workflow of a water cooled type chiller system where efficiency can be achieved if several factors are considered, including: Evaporator Leaving Water Temperature Settings, Entering Condenser Water Temperature Settings and the cleanliness of the evaporator and condenser tube.
