Abstract

UMKM Ikhwan Mbois merupakan salah satu produsen songkok yang berada di Lamongan. Songkok yang diproduksi antara lain model susun, AC, dan terompah tetapi songkok batik model AC adalah model yang paling diminati konsumen. Proses produksi songkok batik ini dibuat berdasarkan permintaan konsumen. Pada waktu tertentu terjadi permintaan konsumen yang cukup tinggi sehingga mengalami keterlambatan pengiriman produk kepada pelanggan. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena UMKM ini belum mengetahui berapa waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk memproduksi satu unit songkok. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui waktu yang diperlukan untuk membuat satu unit songkok dengan menggunakan metode jam henti (stopwatch time study) karena proses produksi songkok yang berlangsung singkat dan berulang-ulang. Pengamatan dilakukan pada proses produksi dengan membagi proses operasi menjadi enam elemen kerja. Hasil penelitian didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa waktu standar yang diperlukan untuk produksi satu songkok batik model AC adalah 11 menit dan setiap karyawan menghasilkan output standar sebanyak 44 unit songkok/hari.

Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Ikhwan Mbois is one of the skullcap producers located in Lamongan. Skullcap produced include stacking models, AC, and terompah, but the AC model batik skullcaps are the models that are most in demand by consumers. The production process of this batik skullcap is made based on consumer demand. At certain times, consumer demand is quite high, causing delays in product delivery to customers. This is because these SMEs do not yet know how long it will take to produce one unit of skullcap. Therefore, a study was conducted to determine the time required to make one unit of skullcap using the stopwatch time study method because the process of producing a skullcap is short and repetitive. Observations were made on the production process by dividing the operating process into six work elements. The results of the study concluded that the standard time required for the production of one AC model batik skullcap is 11 minutes and each employee produces a standard output of 44 skullcap units/day.
