Abstract
Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan terbesar di Dunia. Indonesia memiliki lebih dari 17.000 pulau, dimana hanya sekitar 7.000 pulau yang berpenghuni. Untuk negara yang terdiri dari banyak pulau seperti Indonesia, diperlukannya konektivitas transportasi yang baik. Namun, tidak dapat dipungkiri lagi masih banyak pulau-pulau yang sangat jarang disinggah karena keterbatasan transportasi, waktu tempuh perjalanan yang begitu lama, dll.
Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan adalah kabupaten yang memiliki jumlah penduduk dan luas wilayah terbesar di Provinsi Maluku Utara. Seaplane sebagai alat transportasi yang dapat memanfaatkan laut sebagai tempat pendaratan diharapkan bisa memenuhi kebutuhan berpergian antar pulau di Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan. Oleh sebab itu, pada tugas akhir ini dilakukan analisis transportasi Seaplane terhadap konektivitas antar pulau di Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan. Pengerjaan tugas akhir ini dilakukanlah memodelkan grafik representasi, membuat matriks konektivitas jaringan dan mencari travel time, travel cost serta kapasitas antara transportasi kapal dan seaplane, kemudian dianalisis dengan cara membandingkan travel time, travel cost dan kapasitas antara penggunaan transportasi kapal dengan transportasi seaplane dalam berpergian antar pulau.
Dari hasil analisis penelitian ini didapatkan jarak tempuh dan travel time antar pulau di Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan menggunakan kapal dan seaplane. Kemudian didapatkan dari memodelkan grafik representasi dan membuat matriks konektivitas jaringan didapatkan pulau mana saja di Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan yang tidak memiliki direct koneksi dengan pulau yang memiliki bandar udara yaitu Pulau Bacan ada 3 pelabuhan. Kemudian dari hasil analisis travel time, travel cost, dan kapasitas didapatkan perbandingan antara transportasi kapal dan seaplane, yang mana transportasi seaplane dapat menghemat travel time sangat jauh dibandingkan menggunakan transpotasi kapal seperti dari Labuha ke Waikyon yang biasanya menggunakan kapal selama 331 menit, namun dengan menggunakan seaplane hanya selama 41 menit, akan tetapi harus mengeluarkan travel cost yang jauh lebih mahal dan hanya memiliki kapasitas terbatas dibanding dengan menggunakan kapal.

Indonesia is the world's largest archipelago country. There are around 17,000 islands in Indonesia, but only about 7,000 are inhabited. Indonesia, as a country with many islands, requires excellent transportation connectivity. However, due to inadequate transportation, long journey durations, and other factors, many islands continue to be under-visited.
South Halmahera Regency is the most populous and largest district in North Maluku Province. The employment of a seaplane as a mode of transportation that can land on the sea is projected to address the demands of travelers between islands in South Halmahera Regency. As a result, an examination of Seaplane transportation on inter-island connectivity in South Halmahera Regency is carried out in this final project. The goal of this final project is to construct a representation graph, create a network connectivity matrix, and compare journey time, travel cost, and capacity between ship and seaplane transportation.
The distance and travel duration between islands in South Halmahera Regency using ships and seaplanes were discovered as a result of this study's investigation. Then, using the representation graph and a network connectivity matrix, it was discovered which islands in the South Halmahera Regency do not have direct connections to islands with airports, such as Bacan Island, which has three ports. Then, based on the results of the analysis of travel time, travel cost, and capacity, we can make a comparison between ship and seaplane transportation, with seaplane transportation saving a significant amount of time compared to ship transportation, such as from Labuha to Waikyon, which takes 331 minutes by ship but only 41 minutes by seaplane, but at a much higher cost.
