Abstract
Kapasitas pabrik 7.285.703 ton biogas/tahun.

Palm oil (CPO) is currently the largest source of vegetable oil in the world. According to the oil world report in 2011, palm oil contributed about 27% or 46 million tons of the total vegetable oil in the world. From the production of CPO to produce liquid waste (Palm Oil Mill Effluent / POME) as much as 3 tons, it is planned to build a Biogas Plant from Palm Oil Mill Liquid Waste in West Kalimantan. The factory capacity is 7,285,703 tons of biogas/year. The biogas production process from POME has three stages, namely the neutralization stage, the fermentation stage, and the purification stage. This plant is planned to operate continuously for 330 days/year on a 24 hour/day basis. The required POME raw material is 237600 tons/year. In this biogas plant, the pressure optimization of the water scrubber was carried out from a pressure of 10 atm down to 3 atm. From the optimization results, the levels of CH4 are 96.52%, CO2 is 1.81%, Nitrogen is 0.6%, Hydrogen is 0.47%, and the rest is 0.6% H2O. Based on the economic feasibility analysis, a biogas plant with a capacity of 7,285,703 tons/year has been feasible to be established with NPV, IRR, POT and BEP obtained in the amount of Rp. 175,356,857,463; 25.95%; 4.78 years and 20.07%.
