Abstract
Sektor industri memiliki pengaruh besar dalam kemajuan dan pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu negara untuk berkembang. Saat ini kimia dasar untuk memenuhi kebutuhan proses produksi, salah satu bahan kimia dasar yang sangat penting NaOH atau caustic soda merupakan salah satu bahan kimia dasar yang memiliki peranan penting pada proses produksi berbagai industi di Indonesia, baik sebagai bahan baku utama maupun bahan baku pendukung. Kapasitas produksi untuk pabrik yang akan didirikan direncanakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan NaOH di Indonesia yang belum terpenuhi, yaitu kapasitas produksi 37.501,65 ton/tahun. Lokasi yang dipilih untuk pendirian pabrik Pendirian pabrik direncanakan di kawasan Industri Cilegon, Banten. Proses pembuatan NaOH dengan metode elektrolisis sel membran adalah sebagai berikut Proses Brine Purification, Proses Brine Electrolysis, Proses Evaporasi, Proses Preconcentration dan Prilling. Pabrik ini direncanakan beroperasi secara kontinyu selama 330 hari/tahun dengan basis 24 jam/hari. Bahan baksu garam NaCl yang dibutuhkan sebesar 19.286 kg/jam. Pada pabrik natrium hidroksida ini, kami mengoptimalkan Evaporator yang berfungsi memisahkan cairan dari padatan melalui perpindahan panas melalui penguapan atau perebusan. ekonomi steam evaporator dapat ditingkatkan dengan menaikkan suhu umpan menjadi lebih tinggi dari titik didihnya. Menaikkan suhu umpan sebelum masuk ke evaporator pertama diharapkan dapat mempercepat penguapan. Bila suhu umpan masuk melebihi titik didihnya, maka sebagian dari umpan akan menguap secara spontan melalui penyeimbangana diabatik dengan tekanan ruang, dan didapatkan data bahwa nilai ekonomi steam paling tinggi bernilai 1,89 dari perubahan suhu umpan yang masuk ke evaporator Tujuan dari evaporasi adalah untuk mengkonsentrasikan larutan dari zat terlarut yang tidak mudah menguap (yaitu, padatan) dan pelarut (yaitu, cairan), yang biasanya air. Berdasarkan analisa kelayakan ekonomi pembangunan pabrik, pabrik natrium hidroksida dengan kapasitas 37.000 ton/tahun telah layak untuk didirikan dengan NPV, IRR, POT dan BEP yang diperoleh sebesar Rp 362,613,950,105.05; 18%; 4,5 tahun dan 12%.

The industrial sector has a major influence on the progress and economic growth of a country to develop. Currently the basic chemical to meet the needs of the production process, one of the most important basic chemicals NaOH or caustic soda is one of the basic chemicals that has an important role in the production process of various industries in Indonesia, both as the main raw material and supporting raw materials. The production capacity for the plant to be established is planned to meet the unmet need for NaOH in Indonesia, namely a production capacity of 37,501.65 tons/year. The location chosen for the establishment of the factory The establishment of the factory is planned in the Industrial area of Cilegon, Banten. The process of making NaOH using the cell membrane electrolysis method is as follows: Brine Purification Process, Brine Electrolysis Process, Evaporation Process, Preconcentration and Prilling Process. This plant is planned to operate continuously for 330 days/year on a 24 hour/day basis. The raw material for the NaCl salt needed is 19,286 kg/hour. In this sodium hydroxide plant, we optimize the Evaporator which functions to separate liquids from solids through heat transfer through evaporation or boiling. The economy of the steam evaporator can be increased by raising the temperature of the feed to be higher than its boiling point. Increasing the feed temperature before entering the first evaporator is expected to accelerate evaporation. If the temperature of the inlet feed exceeds its boiling point, then some of the feed will evaporate spontaneously through diabatic balancing with room pressure, and the data obtained that the highest economic value of steam is 1.89 from the change in temperature of the feed entering the evaporator. The purpose of evaporation is to concentrate a solution of a non-volatile solute (i.e., a solid) and a solvent (i.e., a liquid), which is usually water. Based on the analysis of the economic feasibility of building a factory, a sodium hydroxide plant with a capacity of 37,000 tons/year has been feasible to be established with NPV, IRR, POT and BEP obtained in the amount of Rp 362,613,950,105.05; 18%; 4.5 years and 12%.
