Abstract

Peran sebuah sekolah dalam mendidik muridnya sangatlah besar. Kualitas pendidikan sebuah sekolah memiliki banyak faktor pendukung yang salah satunya adalah faktor aristektural gedung sekolah. Memiliki interior gedung sekolah yang nyaman dan memenuhi kebutuhan siswanya. Gedung sekolah juga dapat menjadi sebuah identitas bagi sekolah itu sendiri. Focus Independent School merupakan sekolah internasional yang berada di Kota Solo. Sekolah ini didirikan pada tahun 2002 dan memiliki tingkat sekolah dari TK hingga SMP. Lokasi sekolah yang strategis di tengah Kota Solo menjadi salah satu kelebihan dari sekolah ini.
Focus Independent School menerapkan kurikulum internasional Cambridge yang berfokus kepada perkembangan anak. Kegiatan pembelajaran pada Focus Independent School terkendala pada ukuran layout dan juga tata ruangnya. Sesuai dengan karakteristik anak SD yang banyak bergerak, maka diperlukan sirkulasi dan luasan ruang yang cukup agar aktivitas pengguna dapat dijalani dengan baik. Pada interior focus independent school memiliki nuansa warna putih yang relatif monotone yang perlu dikembangkan lagi agar sesuai dengan karakter anak usia SD yang menyukai warna terang dan juga bentuk-bentuk yang unik. Oleh karena itu, Focus Independent School memerlukan desain yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dari kurikulum Cambridge dan juga dapat memberikan kesan unik dan menyenangkan sesuai dengan visi & misi yang dimiliki.
Untuk menjawab permasalahan diatas maka konsep desain interior yang ditawarkan adalah Colorful Geometric. Konsep ini bertujuan untuk menjawab kebutuhan anak yang didasari oleh karakteristik dan perkembangannya. Penerapan konsep tersebut juga didasari dari kebutuhan untuk pelaksanaan pembelajaran sesuai dengan acuan dari kurikulum Cambridge. Diharapkan, dengan menerapkan konsep tersebut maka dapat meningkatkan kualitas kegiatan belajar mengajar di Focus Independent School.

Has a comfortable and nice school building. The school building can also be an identity for the school itself. Focus Independent School is an international school located in the city of Solo. This school was founded in 2002 and has school levels from kindergarten to junior high school. The strategic location of the school in the middle of the city of Solo is one of the advantages of this school
Focus Independent School applies Cambridge's international curriculum that focuses on child development. Learning activities at Focus Independent School are constrained by the size of the layout and also the layout. In accordance with the characteristics of elementary school children who move a lot, it is necessary to have sufficient circulation and space so that user activities can be carried out properly. In the interior, the focus independent school has a relatively monotone white color that needs to be further developed to suit the character of elementary school-aged children who like bright colors and unique shapes. Therefore, Focus Independent School requires a design that fits the needs of the Cambridge curriculum and can also give a unique and pleasant impression in accordance with its vision & mission.
To answer the above problems, the interior design concept offered is Colorful Geometric. This concept aims to answer the needs of children based on their characteristics and development. The application of the concept is also based on the need for the implementation of learning in accordance with the references from the Cambridge curriculum. It is hoped that by applying this concept, it can improve the quality of teaching and learning activities at Focus Independent School.
