Abstract

Perpindahan panas secara radiasi merupakan efek panas yang ditimbulkan akibat suatu sumber panas tertentu. Tentunya ini tidak membutuhkan medium dalam perantaranya. Namun, dalam perpindahan panas tersebut, terdapat variabel-variabel yang bisa diukur dengan menggunakan sistem yang disebut dengan RHT (Radiation Heat Transfer). Berdasarkan uraian tersebut, secara garis besar tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memodifikasi desain dan mengukur fluks panas radiasi. Modifikasi sistem RHT memanfaatkan beberapa instrumentasi kontrol cerdas agar mudah dalam pengambilan serta pengolahan data. Berdasarkan pada proses kalibrasi heater menggunakan sensor termokopel 1 dan sensor termokopel eksternal, hasil kalibrasi pada heater menggunakan sensor termokopel 1 sesuai persamaan y = 0,9869 x + 6,0174 diperoleh R2 = 0,98. Waktu yang digunakan untuk pemanasan heater yaitu 24 menit, sedangkan untuk waktu pendinginan 3 jam 36 menit dengan total waktu 4 jam. Hasil keseksamaan antara fluks panas radiasi menggunakan sensor radiometer dan sensor termokopel 2 sesuai persamaan y = 0,8166x + 0,0319 diperoleh R2 = 0,97.

Radiation heat transfer is a heat transfer caused by a
particular heat source. Surely this does not require a medium in
the middle. However, in the heat transfer, there are variables that
can be measured using a system called RHT (Radiation Heat
Transfer). Based on the description, the purpose of this study is to
modify the design and measure the heat flux of radiation. RHT
system modifications make use of multiple intelligent control
instrumentation for easy data retrieval and processing. Based on
the calibration process of heater using thermocouple sensor 1 and
external thermocouple sensor, the calibration results on heater
using thermocouple sensor 1 according to equation y = 0.9869x +
6.0174 obtained R2 = 0.98. The time used for heating the heater is
24 minutes, while cooling time is 3 hours 36 minutes with a total
time of 4 hours. The result of carefulness between the radiation
heat flux using the radiometer sensor and thermocouple sensor 2
according to the equation y = 0.8166x + 0.0319 obtained R2 =
0.97.
