Abstract
Motor induksi 3 fasa merupakan salah satu mesin listrik yang banyak digunakan di dunia industri, penggunaan motor induksi pada industri semakin meningkat untuk menunjang sistem produksi.. Sistem proteksi merupakan bagian yang sangat penting dalam suatu instalasi listrik untuk melindungi peralatan utama bila terjadi gangguan pada proses produksi.
Di industri menengah kerap kali memiliki problem yang belum bisa terselesaikan. Mulai dari sistem kontrol, pengintegrasian sistem, sistem proteksi dan lain sebagainya. Penggunaan metode fuzzy logic akan diimplementasikan kedalam permasalahan tersebut dan perlu adanya suatu alat yang mampu melindungi motor dari kerusakan-kerusakan melalui cara preventive.
Hasil dari pengujian dari alat sistem proteksi motor induksi 3 fasa dengan metode fuzzy logic menunjukkan kondisi motor nyala ketika nilai dari output sensor dalam set range logika fuzzy yang telah ditentukan dan mati atau trip ketika nilai dari output sensor keluar dari set range logika fuzzy. Nilai rata-rata error dari sensor dengan penggunaan metode fuzzy logic memiliki nilai error sebesar 13,33 % untuk arus, 1,13 % untuk tegangan, dan 9,93 % untuk suhu. Rata-rata error dari ketiga sensor tersebut dengan metode fuzzy logic memiliki nilai total rata-rata sebesar 8,13 %. Dan nilai error sensor tanpa metode sebesar 31,91 % pada arus, 1,83 % pada tegangan, dan 6,21 % pada suhu. Rata-rata error dari ketiga sensor tanpa penggunaan metode memiliki nilai sebesar 13,31 %. Sehingga penggunaan fuzzy logic pada sistem proteksi ini memiliki efektvitas sebanyak 5,18 % lebih baik dibandingkan tanpa menggunakan metode.

The 3-phase induction motor is one of the most widely used electrical machines in the industrial world, the use of induction motors in industry is increasing to support the production system. The protection system is a very important part in an electrical installation to protect the main equipment in the event of a disturbance in the production process. .
Medium-sized industries often have unresolved problems. Starting from the control system, system integration, protection system and so on. The use of the fuzzy logic method will be implemented into these problems and it is necessary to have a tool that is able to protect the motor from damage through preventive means.
The results of the test of the 3-phase induction motor protection system using the fuzzy logic method show that the motor is on when the value of the sensor output is in a predetermined set of fuzzy logic ranges and turns off or trips when the value of the sensor output is out of the set range of fuzzy logic. The average error value of the sensor using the fuzzy logic method has an error value of 13.33% for current, 1.13% for voltage, and 9.93% for temperature. The average error of the three sensors using the fuzzy logic method has an average total value of 8.13%. And the sensor error value without method is 31.91% at current, 1.83% at voltage, and 6.21% at temperature. The average error of the three sensors without the use of the method has a value of 13.31%. So that the use of fuzzy logic in this protection system has an effectiveness of 5.18% better than without using the method.
