Abstract

Identifikasi struktur sesar pada sistem geotermal dapat dilakukan dengan
menggunakan metode gravitasi. Metode gravitasi menghasilkan suatu
penampang anomali yang dapat digunakan untuk interpretasi. Sebelum
melakukan interpretasi anomali gravitasi, perlu dilakukan proses filtering
dengan metode yang sesuai dengan kondisi wilayah penelitian. Filter yang
digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode Second Vertical Derivative (SVD).
Metode SVD memiliki prinsip kerja dengan menentukan perubahan densitas
dan orientasi kemiringan antarmuka lapisan serta memudahkan dalam
menganalisis struktur patahan pada wilayah penelitian. Anomali yang
dihasilkan memperlihatkan trend besar batas anomali antara anomali rendah
yang memiliki rentang nilai -60 – -20 mGal dengan anomali tinggi yang
memiliki rentang nilai 20 – 60 mGal di mana trend tersebut diinterpretasi
sebagai sesar mendatar dan sesar turun. Kedua sesar tersebut memiliki arah N
320⁰ E – N 340⁰E dan N 280⁰ E – N 300⁰ E. Berdasarkan grafik SVD
ditemukan 8 titik dengan nilai SVD mendekati 0 (nol) diantaranya -0,000298; -
0,000225; -0,000090; -0,000112; 0,000002; -0,000014; 0,000061; dan
0,000003. Penampang kedalaman forward modeling 2 dimensi
mengidentifikasi wilayah penelitian pada kedalaman hingga 500 meter tersusun
atas lapisan anggota sedimen Badui dan aliran piroklastik Endut dengan nilai
densitas 2,3 gr/cm3
, vulkanik Pra-Endut dengan densitas 2,72 gr/cm3
, breksi
lava Gunung Pilar yang memilki nilai densitas 2,53 gr/cm3
, lava Endut 1
dengan densitas 2,72 gr/cm3
, lava Endut 2 dengan densitas 2,68 gr/cm3
serta
lapisan aluvium dengan nilai densitas 2,2 gr/cm3
. Hasil analisis pengolahan
data dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode SVD dapat mengidentifikasi struktur
sesar penyebab munculnya manifestasi air panas Handeleum akan tetapi tidak
dapat mengidentifikasi sesar pengontrol manifestasi air panas Cikawah
dikarenakan sesar pengontrol tersebut termasuk kedalam jenis sesar mendatar
(strike slip).

Identification of fault structures in geothermal systems can be done using the
gravity method. The gravity method produces an anomaly cross section that
can be used for interpretation. Before interpreting the gravity anomaly, it is
necessary to carry out a filtering process with a method that is in accordance
with the conditions of the research area. The filter used in this study is the
Second Vertical Derivative (SVD) method. The principe of SVD method is by
determining changes in density and the orientation of the interface slope of the
layer and makes it easier to analyze the fault structure in the research area.
The resulting anomaly shows a large trend of the anomaly boundary between
the low anomaly which has a value range of -60 – -20 mGal and the high
anomaly which has a value range of 20 – 60 mGal where the trend is
interpreted as a horizontal fault and a descending fault. The two faults have
directions N 320⁰ E – N 340⁰E and N 280⁰ E – N 300⁰ E. Based on the SVD
graph found 8 points with SVD values close to 0 (zero) including -0.000298; -
0.000225; -0.000090; -0.000112; 0.000002; -0.000014; 0.000061; and
0.000003. The 2-dimensional forward modeling depth section identifies the
study area at a depth of up to 500 meters composed of layers of Bedouin
sedimentary members and Endut pyroclastic flows with a density value of 2.3
gr/cm3

, Mount lava breccias
Pillar which has a density value of 2.53 gr/cm3
, Endut 1 lava with a density of
2.72 gr/cm3
, Endut lava 2 with a density of 2.68 gr/cm3 and an alluvium layer
with a density value of 2.2 gr/cm3
. The results of the analysis of data processing
can be concluded that the SVD method can identify the fault structure causing
the manifestation of Handeleum geyser but cannot identify the fault controlling
the manifestation of Cikawah geyser because the controlling fault is included in
the strike slip type.
