Abstract
Lamanya proses breakdown maintenance pada mesin dapat menghambat output produk yang dihasilkan dikarenakan kurangnya efisiensi dalam penyampaian informasi dari operator kepada teknisi. Saat proses perbaikan mesin, waktu perbaikan tidak terekam secara otomatis sehingga response dan troubleshooting time dari teknisi tidak diketahui. Setelah teknisi memperbaiki trouble mesin, laporan breakdown diisi oleh supervisor engineer, namun harus menunggu laporan dari teknisi yang memperbaiki mesin tersebut.
Dari permasalahan tersebut muncul sebuah inovasi untuk mengefisiensi waktu dalam penyampaian informasi. Technician Caller merupakan alat yang digunakan oleh operator produksi untuk memanggil teknisi ketika terdapat trouble pada mesin dengan cara menekan tombol yang nantinya otomatis akan mengirimkan pesan ke grup teknisi via Telegram. Pusat sistem kendali alat technician caller ini menggunakan mikrokontroler ATmega 2560 + Esp8266, sedangkan aplikasi android Daily Breakdown Report merupakan aplikasi yang digunakan teknisi untuk mengirim laporan kerusakan kepada supervisor engineer.
Metode yang digunakan dalam melakukan perhitungan pengurangan waktu perbaikan yaitu rumus dari Mean Time to Repair. Dari hasil pembuatan dan pengujian didapatkan alat mampu berjalan sesuai dengan perancangan serta didapatkan hasil selisih pengurangan waktu perbaikan selama 9 menit 53 detik.

Due to inefficiency in transferring information from the operator to the technician, the length of the machine's breakdown maintenance procedure can impede the output of the final product. The repair time is not automatically recorded during the machine repair process, thus the technician's reaction and troubleshooting time are unknown. The supervisor engineer fills out the breakdown report after the technician fixes the machine problem, but must wait for the report from the technician who repaired the machine.
These issues spawned an idea for speeding up the flow of information. Technician Caller is a gadget that allows production operators to call technicians when a machine malfunctions by clicking a button that sends a message to the technician group via Telegram. The ATmega 2560 + Esp8266 microcontroller is utilized in the control system center for this technician caller tool, and the Daily Breakdown Report android application is used by technicians to send damage reports to the supervising engineer.
The formula from Mean Time to Repair is used to calculate the reduction in repair time. The tool was found to be able to run according to the design and to have a difference in repair time reduction of 9 minutes 53 seconds based on the manufacturing and testing findings.
