Abstract
Telah dilakukan restrukturisaasi Plant Simulator Flow Control pendukung mata kuliah Mekanika Fluida di Departemen Teknik Intrumentasi. Restrukturisasi yang dilakukan untuk tugas akhir ini adalah menambahkan sistem monitoring flow-rate dan pressure menggunakan mikrokontroler Arduino Mega 2560, pompa, rotameter, sebuah sensor water flow berbasis hall effect dan 2 buah sensor pressure transmitter. Dalam simulator ini terdapat dua penampang pipa dengan diameter yang berbeda. Sensor water flow digunakan untuk mengindra debit air yang mengalir di salah satu penampang. Sedangkan sensor tekanan digunakan untuk mengindra perbedaan tekanan air yang mengalir pada pipa besar dan pipa kecil. Alat ini mampu menampilkan laju aliran dan tekanan melalui HMI dan aplikasi Blynk. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian alat, diketahui sistem monitoring untuk water flow dapat bekerja sangat baik. Hal itu dibuktikan dari nilai rata-rata error sebesar 6%, span sebesar 8,9 L/min, akurasi sebesar 19,78%, dan sensitivitas sebesar 0,91. Sedangkan performa monitoring untuk pressure sensor kurang baik. Hal itu ditunjukkan oleh nilai rata-rata error tekanan sebesar 44,35%, span sebesar 1608,8666 Pa, akurasi sebesar 5241,5%, sedangkan sensitivitas sebesar 0,0057.

The Plant Simulator Flow Control restructuring has been carried out to support the Fluid Mrchanics course in the Instrumentation Engineering Departement. The structuring carried out for this final project is to add a flow-rate and pressure monitoring system using an Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller, a pump, a rotameter, a hall effect-based water flow and 2 pressure transmitter sensors. In this simulator there are two cross sections of pipes with different diameters. The water flow sensor is used to sense the flow of water flowing in one cros section. While the pressure sensor is used to sense the difference in water pressure flowing in large and small pipes. It is capable of displaing flow rates and pressure via the HMI and the Blynk application. Based on the result of testing tools, it is known that the monitoring system for water flow can work very well. This is evidenced by the average error value of 6%, span of 8,9 L/min, accuracy of 19,78%, and sensitivity of 0,91. While the monitoring performance for the pressure sensor is not good. This is indicated by the average pressure error value of 44,35%, span of 1608,8666 Pa, accuracy of 5241,5%, while sensitivity of 0,0057.
