Abstract

Permasalahan pada praktikum online adalah plant dikendalikan melalui remote atau PC dari jarak jauh. Konsep pengendalian ini sangat mempengaruhi praktikum yang akan dijalankan dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan data secara real time. Pengendalian yang dilakukan yaitu level atau ketinggian. Dalam pengendalian ketinggian air pada suatu plant dapat memberikan informasi tentang kondisi ketinggian air tersebut. Metode yang umum dilakukan adalah mencatat ketinggian air melalui tanda atau ketinggian air terpasang. Apabila terjadi kondisi yang tidak stabil dalam ketinggian air tersebut, maka akan menjadi kendala dalam mendapatkan data secara real time yang dapat berakibat pada keterlambatan pengambilan keputusan. Komponen utama perangat keras terdiri dari perancangan pengendalian level dan perangkat lunak adalah membuat display pada PC. Oleh karena itu, penulis merancang sebuah alat yang mengatur atau mengendalikan ketinggian air berdasarkan input yang diinginkan menggunakan sensor ultrasonik berbasis PC untuk mengukur ketinggian air secara real time yang akan ditampilkan di PC.

The problem in the online practicum is that the plant is controlled via remote or remote PC. This control concept greatly affects the practicum that will be carried out with the aim of getting data in real time. Control that is carried out is the level or height. In controlling the water level in a plant can provide information about the condition of the water level. A common method is to record the water level through a sign or water level attached. If there is an unstable condition in the water level, it will be an obstacle in getting data in real time which can result in delays in decision making. The main hardware components consist of level control design and software is to make a display on a PC. Therefore, the author designed a tool that regulates or controls the water level based on the desired input using a PC based ultrasonic sensor to measure the water level in real time which will be displayed on a PC.
