Abstract

To increase the consumption and sales of fish, Indonesia, and the Philippines agreed on the MoU on Creative Economic Cooperation and the MoU on Marine and Fisheries Cooperation to make it easier for the Philippines to obtain fish supplies as the second staple food after rice and provide benefits for Indonesia. This study aims to increase fish consumption in the Philippines by utilizing user experience design in the design of fish logistics e-commerce telematics architecture. The case study in this design is the capital city of the Philippines, Manila, by planning the architecture of the e-commerce business process in selling the catches of Filipino fishers. There is an attachment between the fishermen and the middlemen in need of fishing capital, causing the current business process to be unprofitable for anglers and end-users, with a loss of 71.4% of the selling price and purchase price. By analyzing the existing logistical value chain and the user experience approach, a fish e-commerce business process plan can be developed that would enhance fishermen's revenue while also providing better pricing for end-users. In the design of the new business process, the resulting NPV value of Rp. 441,765,450, the IRR value is 18%, increasing the income of fishers to Rp. 1,161,400,593 / 10 anglers and produce a BCR of 1.01 so that the design of the fish logistics e-commerce business process can be said to be feasible.
