Abstract
Proses analisa diawali dengan menggambar model kapal, kemudian menghitung kembali berat kapal, setelah itu dilakukan analisa stabilitas akibat pengurangan komponen permesinan sesuai dengan aturan IMO code on Intact Stability A.749 18), Ch 3 – design criteria applicable to all ships.

As technology progresses, ships use liquefied natural gas (LNG) as fuel for ship engines aimed at ship efficiency. Therefore, this study focuses on stability analysis of harbor tug ships in the port area. In this study, stability analysis was carried out on the ship with variations of the fixed trim and free trim methods. Analyzed with dual fuel engine system and without dual fuel engine system. The analysis process begins with drawing a ship model, then recalculates the weight of the ship. After that, a stability
analysis was carried out due to the reduction of machining components in accordance with the IMO code on Intact Stability A.749 18 rules. The results of the stability analysis after reducing the components, when condition 1 is obtained, the value of GM = 2,351
meters becomes GM = 2.181 meters and the stability meets the criteria. In condition 2, the value of GM = 1.965 meters becomes GM = 2.009 meters and the stability meets the
criteria. In condition 3, the value of GM = 2.054 meters becomes GM = 2.134 meters and the stability meets the criteria. In condition 4, the value of GM = 2,286 meters becomes GM = 2,296 meters and the stability meets the criteria. After analysis, the fixed trim
method has the same AP and FP draft values, while the free trim to loadcase has different AP and FP draft values. In addition, the free trim analysis has a higher GZ value than the fixed trim
