Abstract
Kapal berbahan laminasi bambu menjadi alternatif yang menjanjikan mengingat ketersediaan bambu yang melimpah serta usia panen yang jauh lebih singkat. Namun bambu memliki kelebihan dan kekurangan pada setiap jenisnya. Oleh karena itu penelitian laminasi kombinasi dari beberapa jenis bambu perlu dilakukan untuk mengurangi kekurangan dari tiap jenis bambu. Pengujian dilakukan dengan menganalisa teknis dan ekonomis pembangunan kapal ikan 7 GT menggunakan variasi dari tiga jenis bambu yaitu bambu ori, bambu apus, dan bambu betung. Analisa teknis dengan pengujian kuat tarik, kuat tekuk, dan kembang susut mengacu pada standar pengujian ASTM D3500, ASTM D3043, dan ASTM D143. Standar kekuatan minimum dan kekuatan konstruksi kapal mengacu pada BKI Vol VII 2021. Terdapat 7 variasi yang digunakan yaitu ori, apus, betung, kombinasi ori dan apus, kombinasi ori dan betung, kombinasi apus dan betung, dan kombinasi ori, betung, dan apus. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh rata-rata kuat tarik laminasi kombinasi bambu ori, apus, dan betung sebesar 144,612 MPa atau 8,703 % lebih rendah dari variasi terkuat dan kuat tarik sebesar 117,726 MPa atau 4,418 % lebih rendah dari variasi terkuat. Pengujian kembang susut pada ketiga jenis bambu diperoleh Perubahan lebar tiap jenis adalah 4,1068 %, 3,935 %, dan 3,3808 %. Perubahan tebal dinding tiap jenis yaitu 6,863 %, 3,4262 %, dan 4,7575 %. Perhitungan konstruksi kapal dilakukan pada kapal dimensi panjang keseluruhan 10 meter, lebar 2,5 meter, tinggi 1,26 meter, dan sarat 0,55 meter. Perhitungan konstruksi dilakukan dengan mengacu standar BKI Vol VII 2021. Dari perhitungan ekonomis, kapal dengan variasi kombinasi ori, betung, dan apus memiliki harga jual Rp. 600.930.859 atau 2,979 % lebih murah dibandingkan variasi termahal. Dari penelitian ini material laminasi kombinasi bambu ori, apus, dan betung memiliki nilai teknis dan ekonomis terbaik dibandingkan variasi lain.

Laminated bamboo boats are a promising alternative considering the abundant availability of bamboo and the shorter harvest time. However, bamboo has advantages and disadvantages in each species. Therefore, research on combinated lamination of several species of bamboo needs to be carried out to reduce the shortcomings of each species of bamboo. The test is carried out by analyzing the technical and economic aspects of building a 7 GT fishing boat using variations of three species of bamboo, which are ori bamboo, apus bamboo, and betung bamboo. Technical analysis by testing tensile strength, bending strength, and shrinkage-swelling refers to the standard ASTM D3500, ASTM D3043, and ASTM D143. Minimum strength standards and ship construction strength refer to BKI Vol VII 2021. There are 7 variations used, namely ori, apus, betung, combination of ori and apus, combination of ori and betung, combination of apus and betung, and combination of ori, betung, and apus. From the test results, the average tensile strength of the laminated combination of bamboo ori, apus, and betung was 144,612 MPa or 8,703 % lower than the strongest variation and the tensile strength was 117,726 MPa or 4,418 % lower than the strongest variation. The swelling and shrinkage test on the three types of bamboo obtained changes in the width of each species were 4,1068 %, 3,935 %, and 3,3808 %. Changes in wall thickness of each type are 6,863 %, 3,4262 %, and 4,7575 %. Calculation of ship construction is carried out on ships with an overall length of 10 meters, a width of 2.5 meters, a height of 1.26 meters, and a draft of 0.55 meters. The construction calculation is carried out by referring to the BKI Vol VII 2021 standard. From economic calculations, ships with variations of the combination of ori, betung, and apus have a selling price of Rp. 600.930.859 or 2,979 % cheaper than the most expensive variation. From this research, the laminated material combination of ori, apus, and betung bamboo has the best technical and economic value compared to other variations.
