Abstract

Perovskite CsPbBr3 has a promising potential as a photoanode because of its wide light response range, stable crystal structure, and good electron consumption rate. however, no tests have been carried out regarding the morphology of CsPbBr3 on thin films for photoanode applications. This study aims to analyze the effect of the crystal structure and morphology of the CsPbBr3 perovskite thin film which was given a heat treatment temperature of 90°C, 110°C, 120°C. The synthesis method used in this research is Ligand Assisted Reprecipitation (LARP) and fabrication using drop-casting. The tests carried out were morphological tests with XRD, SEM, and electrochemical tests using the CV test. The results showed that the perovskite CsPbBr3/Cs4PbBr6/CsPb2Br5 was formed which was stable up to 120℃ and the crystal size decreased with increasing temperature. The resulting CsPbBr3/Cs4PbBr6/CsPb2Br5 perovskite structure has the shape of a cube and wires are CsPb2Br5 phases. After the CV test, the cathode-anode potential value with the lowest V was 2.29 V. In addition, the anode and cathode values indicated a redox reaction so that the CsPbBr3/Cs4PbBr6/CsPb2Br5 perovskite has potential for photoanode applications.
