Abstract

================================================================================================
One of the existing slope reinforcements in the construction of the new Singaraja – Mengwitani road is soil nailing. The current condition of the slope with soil nailing reinforcement is in a stable condition. However, it should be noted if there are changes in environmental factors, namely: earthquake loads, surcharges, and creep in soil nailing.
With the problems described above, it is necessary to analyze the effect of these environmental factors on the stability of the slope. The analysis was carried out using the PLAXIS program. Based on the results of the PLAXIS analysis, the soil deformation number and safety factor were obtained. From this value, a graph of the relationship between the safety factor and soil deformation number will be drawn up. The purpose of this research is to provide a hazard limit in the form of a number of deformations where the deformation occurs when the safety factor is in a critical condition (FS=1).
The results of the analysis show that with an increase in earthquake acceleration of 0.05g, the deformation that occurs has an average increase of 16.26% and global stability has decreased by an average of 3% for STA 0+275, 0+300, and 0+325. For STA 0+950, the deformation experienced an average increase of 19.52% and global stability decreased by an average of 5.2%. With the influence of earthquake acceleration, STA 0+275, 0+300, and 0+325 deformed by 107.8mm, 193.82mm, and 70.62mm at the critical safety factor conditions. Meanwhile, STA 0+950 experienced a deformation of 68.09mm.
The results of the next study showed that with an increase in load on a 10 kPa slope, the deformation that occurred increased by an average of 80.18% and global stability decreased by an average of 3.35% for STA 0+272, 0+300, and 0+325. For STA 0+950, the deformation experienced an average increase of 125% and global stability decreased by an average of 14.43%. With the influence of the load on the slope, STA 0+275, 0+300, and 0+325 deformed by 86.27mm, 152.6mm, and 44.31mm at the critical safety factor conditions. STA 0+950 is deformed by 35.89mm.
The decrease in the modulus of elasticity of the soil nailing has no effect on the deformation and slope safety factor. The deformation and factor of safety tend to remain constant as the modulus of elasticity decreases. This proves that creep simulation cannot be done by simply lowering the modulus of elasticity.
The combined load shows the load that has the most influence on the stability of the slope. STA 0+950 collapsed under a combined load of 0.4g earthquake acceleration and a load on a slope of 40 kPa.
