Abstract

Majalengka Sub-Basin is part of Bogor anticlinorium zone that has folded subsurface structure and active fault due to Pliocene – Pleistocene tectonic activity. It formed structural trap that allows hydrocarbon potential. Therefore, this study aims to identify Majalengka Sub-Basin subsurface condition using GGMplus 2013 gravity satelite data. First data processing step is data correction to get Complete Bouguer Anomaly (CBA) map. The next step is
digitizing test points on CBA map with 3 km intervals for 3 lines. After that, Energy Spectral Analysis – Multi Window Test (ESA – MWT) method is used to obtain shape and depth estimation of basement and overlying sedimentary layers. Energy Spectral Analysis process applies the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) method to derive Radial Average Power Spectrum (RAPS) curve, whereas Multi Window Test process uses a number of window size from 4 to 40 km with
2 km intervals. The final results of the study are 2D subsurface horizon model on each line which come from depth plateaus analysis that associated with density interface. There are 4 plateaus or density interfaces which has been interpreted as boundaries of Cisubuh Formation, Parigi Formation, Cibulakan Formation, Jatibarang Formation, and Basement. Plateau 1 is obtained from 6 – 10 km window sizes, plateau 2 from 12 – 16 km window sizes, plateau 3 from 18 – 26 km window sizes and plateau 4 from 28 – 34 km window sizes. Estimated sedimentary thickness in this study area is 3,38 km. Based on estimated depth plotting on each line, it is possible that Majalengka Sub-Basin depth is increasing and shifting to NW from line 2 to line 3.
