Abstract

Pertumbuhan jumlah kendaraan bermotor di Indonesia melonjak sangat pesat akhir-akhir ini dan juga permasalahan yang didapat pada kota-kota besar ialah sedikitnya ruang area parkir dijalan, di karenakan pengurangan area lahan parkir untuk menghindari kemacetan pemerintah pun mengambil kebijakan dengan mengharuskan pusat-pusat kegiatan bisnis swasta maupun pemerintah menyediakan lahan parkir yang cukup. Internet of Things (IoT) adalah sistem perangkat komputasi yang saling terkait dengan kemampuan mentransfer data melalui jaringan. Dalam tugas akhir ini akan diimplementasikan suatu aplikasi berbasis IoT dengan menggunakan mesin NodeMCU ESP8266. Mesin ini digunakan untuk melacak lot parkir kosong dengan konsep IoT yang akan dibuat menggunakan sensor pembacaan jarak sebagai masukan pada alat sehingga kemudian dapat mengirimkan informasi ke aplikasi perangkat bergerak android. Hasil dari implementasi rancang bangun pelacakan lot parkir kosong ini diharapkan dapat mengefisen waktu pengguna parkir untuk mendapatkan lot pakir dan membantu pengelola area parkir memonitoring area parkir.

The growth of the number of motorized vehicles in Indonesia has jumped very rapidly lately and also the problem encountered in big cities is the lack of parking space on the road, due to the reduction of parking areas to avoid congestion, the government has also taken a policy by requiring business activity centers. private and government provide sufficient parking space. Internet of Things (IoT) is a system of interconnected computing devices with the ability to transfer data over a network. In this final project, an IoT-based application will be implemented using the engine NodeMCU ESP8266. This machine is used to track empty parking lots with the IoT concept which will be created using a distance reading sensor as input to the tool so that it can then send information to the android mobile application. The results of the implementation of the design for tracking empty parking lots are expected to be able to save time for parking users to get parking lots and help parking area managers monitor parking areas.
