Abstract

Banjarmasin merupakan Ibu Kota Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan yang dikenal dengan julukan kota seribu sungai, hal ini dikarenakan Kota Banjarmasin memiliki banyak sungai yang membelah di beberapa daerahnya. Hampir setiap daerah di Banjarmasin pada saat itu memiliki jaringan lalu lintas sungai yang mudah dicapai oleh masyarakat. Sekarang ini, kondisi lalu lintas sungai sudah jauh berbeda. Para pedagang sayur-mayur dan buah-buahan yang menggunakan ”jukung” (perahu kecil) yang dulunya hilir-mudik melintasi sungai di tepi-tepi jalan untuk menjajakan dagangannya, sudah jarang terlihat. Para pedagang tersebut hanya bisa menggunakan jukung di tempat-tempat terbatas karena banyak sungai yang dulunya pernah menjadi ”jalan bebas hambatan” kini tidak bisa dilewati lagi karena terjadi pendangkalan akibat pembuangan limbah, baik dari limbah industri maupun rumah tangga. Di samping itu, dibantaran sungai banyak didirikan bangunan, diuruk hingga menyempit dan bahkan membuat sungai menjadi mati. Kondisi ini bahkan diperparah dengan pembuatan jembatan rendah yang melintang sungai, sehingga akses lalu lintas sungai pun menjadi terhambat. Tujuan dari Tugas Akhir ini untuk mengetahui potensi penumpang transportasi umum sungai di Kota Banjarmasin dan model revitalisasi angkutan sungai di Kota Banjarmasin. Dengan jumlah potensi penumpang pada masing-masing rute, didapatkan jumlah total terminal yang dibutuhkan sebanyak 10 terminal dengan masing-masing kecamatan membutuhkan 2 terminal yang dilayani oleh 25 armada. Dengan tarif sebesar Rp2.826,69 /pax/km. maka didapat nilai rasio biaya manfaat yang diterima sebesar 1,135. Dengan nilai rasio tersebut dikatakan bahwa dengan adanya angkutan umum sungai ini bermanfaat.

Banjarmasin is the capital city of South Kalimantan Province which is known as the city of a thousand rivers, this is because the city of Banjarmasin has many rivers that divide into several areas. Almost every area in Banjarmasin at that time had a river traffic network that was easily accessible by the community. Today, river traffic conditions are much different. Vegetable and fruit traders using “jukung” (small boats) that used to go back and forth across the river on the sides of the road to peddle their wares are rarely seen. These traders can only use the jukung in limited places because many rivers that were once “freeways” are now impassable due to silting caused by the disposal of waste, both from industrial and household waste. In addition, on the banks of the river, many buildings were erected, piled up until they were narrow, and even killed the river. This condition is even worsened by the construction of low bridges that cross the river, so that access to river traffic becomes obstructed. The purpose of this final project is to determine the potential of river public transportation passengers in Banjarmasin City and the model of river transportation revitalization in Banjarmasin City. With the number of potential passengers on each route, the total number of terminals needed is 10 terminals with each subdistrict requiring 2 terminals served by 25 fleets. With a fare of 2.826,69 IDR/pax/km. then the value of the cost-benefit ratio received is 1,135. With the value of this ratio, it is said that the existence of this river public transportation is beneficial.
