Abstract

Kecamatan Krian berdasarkan RTRW Kabupaten Sidoarjo tahun 2009-2029 merupakan pusat pertumbuhan kawasan SSWP IV yang memiliki fungsi utama pertanian teknis, peternakan, dan zona industri yang ditunjang dengan kegiatan permukiman kepadatan rendah. Disisi lain lokasi central business district dan pusat kota Kecamatan Krian berada dalam area yang sama. Pertumbuhan Kota atau urban growth harus memperhatikan aspek infrastruktur, transportasi, komunikasi, dan kelembagaan yang terbuka bagi investor agar dapat meningkatkan daya tarik investor untuk berinvestasi. Pertumbuhan kota menjadi alternatif yang dapat digunakan memacu pembangunan kota yang akan berdampak pada meningkatnya kegiatan perekonomian masyarakat pada suatu daerah (Nurlina dan Ridha, 2018). Tutupan Lahan atau yang biasa disebut dengan land cover ialah obyek fisik yang menutup permukaan tanah misalnya vegetasi, air dan lainnya (Meyer dan Turner 1994 dalam Briassoulis 2019).
Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif karena penelitian ini dibuat untuk mendeskripsikan dan menggambarkan secara sistematis, faktual, dan akurat mengenai fakta-fakta serta sifat-sifat hubungan antar fenomena yang diteliti. Penampakan citra satelit menggambarkan bahwa terjadi suatu kondisi dimana penggunaan lahan di tahun 2009 berbeda dengan penggunaan lahan tahun 2020. Dengan adanya hasil penelitian dan pengamatan ini dapat diketahui bahwa hampir seluruh bentuk penggunaan lahan di Kecamatan Krian mengalami perubahan, contohnya perubahan penggunaan lahan menjadi pemukiman sehingga luas penggunaan lahan permukiman semakin bertambah

Krian sub-district based on the RTRW of Sidoarjo Regency in 2009-2029 is the growth center of the SSWP IV area which has the main functions of technical agriculture, animal husbandry, and industrial zones supported by low density residential activities. On the other hand, the location of the central business district and the city center of Krian District are in the same area. City growth or urban growth must pay attention to aspects of infrastructure, transportation, communication, and institutions that are open to investors in order to increase the attractiveness of investors to invest. Urban growth is an alternative that can be used to spur urban development which will have an impact on increasing community economic activities in an area (Nurlina and Ridha, 2018). Land cover or what is commonly referred to as land cover is a physical object that covers the ground surface such as vegetation, water and others (Meyer and Turner 1994 in Briassoulis 2019).
This research includes research with a quantitative approach with descriptive research type because this research was made to describe and describe systematically, factually, and accurately about the facts and the nature of the relationship between the phenomena studied. The appearance of satellite images illustrates that there is a condition where land use in 2009 is different from land use in 2020. With the results of this research and observation, it can be seen that almost all forms of land use in Krian District have changed, for example, changes in land use into settlements so that the area is wide. residential land use is increasing.
