Abstract

Manajemen kualitas merupakan salah satu aspek penting bagi perusahaan sebagai cara untuk mempertahankan keberlanjutanperusahaan dan untuk mencapai keunggulan kompetitif. Cara yang dapat dilaksanakan oleh perusahaan agar dapat mempertahankan komponen-komponen kualitas secara jangka panjang adalah dengan menerapkan Total Quality Management(TQM). Penerapan TQM pada Start-up XYZ dibutuhkan karena TQM bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas perusahaan secara berkelanjutan, di mana dengan menggunakan TQM dapat membantu untuk memperbaiki proses bisnis hingga layanan. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi penerapan quality managementdi Start-up XYZ dengan menggunakan elemen pengukuran pada dimensi TQM, serta melakukan perbaikan agar dapat menghasilkan manajemen kualitas yang efisien dan efektif. Penelitian akan dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan kriteria pengukuran menggunakan enam dimensi TQMyang telah digunakan oleh para ahli, yaitu leadership, strategic planning, customer focus, information and analysis, people management, dan process management.Setelah dilakukan pengukuran penerapan pada Start-Up XYZ didapatkan tingkat penerapan TQM pada level 4. Pada penelitian ini juga diberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan penerapan TQM Start-Up XYZ.

Quality management is an important aspect for companies as a way to maintain the company's survival and to achieve competitive advantage. The way that companies can implement in order to maintain quality components in the long term is to implement Total Quality Management (TQM). The application of TQM at Start-up XYZ is needed because TQM aims to improve the quality of the company on an ongoing basis, where using TQM can help to improve business processes and services. This study aims to determine the conditions for implementing quality management at Start-up XYZ by using measurement elements on the TQM dimension, as well as making improvements in order to produce efficient and effective quality management. The research will be conducted using a qualitative approachwith measurement criteria using six TQM dimensions that have been used by experts, namely leadership, strategic planning, customer focus, information and analysis, people management, and process management.After measuring the implementation of Start-Up XYZ, it was found that the level of TQM implementation was at level 4. In this study, recommendations were also given to improve the implementation of TQM Start-Up XYZ.
