Abstract

Seawall or beach wall is a building that separates land and coastal waters. Seawall serves to protect coastal areas from erosion due to waves or currents and also to prevent wave overtopping which can harm the coastal area. In this study, numerical modeling will be carried out using DualSPHysics which will be validated by physical testing experiments carried out on flume tanks in the environment and ocean energy laboratory of the ITS ocean engineering department. This numerical modeling is carried out to determine runup, overtopping, and reflections that occur in seawall structures using porous concrete armor. In this study, there are several variations, namely four variations in wave height (H), two variations in the wave period (T), and three variations in the slope of the structure (
