Abstract
Telah dilakukan pembuatan alat ukur daya isolasi bahan dengan mengacu pada ASTM E2611-09. Pada dasamya terdapat tabling sumber dan tabung penerima yang berfungsi menerima bunyi yang tembus melalui bahan uji. Bahan uji diletakkan di antara tabung sumber dan tabung penerima. Berdasarkan perbedaan tingkat tekanan bunyi antara kedua tabung, maka dapat diketahui insertion loss dan reduksi bising. Setelah dilakukan pengujian alat ukur dapat diketahui pengaruh bising latar ruang terhadap bising latar dalam tabung sumber dan tabung penerima (Tabel 4.4). Selain itu, pengujian dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat kebocoran bunyi pada tabung sumber (Tabel 4.1) dan juga untuk mengetahui sejauh mana tingkat kebocoran tersebut berpengaruh terhadap hasil pengukuran pada tabung sumber dan tabung penerima (Tabel 4.2). Selanjutnya,melalui data hasil pengukuran dapat diketahui jarak efektif pengukuran pada tabung penerima yakni sesuai dengan Panjang gelombang pada masing-masing frekuensi (Tabel 4.9)

It has been made to measure the insulating power of materials with reference to ASTM E2611-09. Basically there is a source tabling and a receiving tube which functions to receive sound that penetrates through the test material. The test material is placed between the source tube and the receiving tube. Based on the difference in sound pressure level between the two tubes, insertion loss and noise reduction can be identified. After testing the measuring instrument, it can be seen that the effect of room background noise on background noise in the source tube and receiver tube (Table 4.4). In addition, tests were carried out to determine the level of sound leakage in the source tube (Table 4.1) and also to determine the extent to which the level of leakage affects the measurement results in the source tube and receiver tube (Table 4.2). Furthermore, through the measurement data it can be seen that the effective measurement distance on the receiving tube is in accordance with the wavelength at each frequency (Table 4.9).
