Abstract
Eksplorasi minyak dan gas lepas pantai membutuhkan pipa bawah laut sebagai salah satu alat transportasi minyak dan gas yang merupakan moda transportasi minyak dan gas yang sudah terbukti ekonomis dan efisien. Sebelum masa operasinya, pipa bawah laut harus diinstalasi terlebih dahulu pada lokasi yang telah ditetapkan. Dalam proses instalasinya dapat mengalami risiko dan memberikan dampak pada berbagai macam aspek, mulai dari lingkungan (environment), bisnis (business/asset), dan keselamatan (safety). Analisis dan pengendalian risiko merupakan hal utama yang harus dipertimbangkan saat instalasi pipa bawah laut. Pada penelitian ini membahas tentang pipa bawah laut milik Kangean Energy Indonesia Ltd di Lapangan Terang Sirasun Batur. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui risiko dominan serta penyebab (threat) dan dampak (consequence), lalu dilanjutkan pengendalian risiko dengan menggunakan metode Bowtie Analysis. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan tiga risiko dominan saat instalasi pipa bawah laut di Lapangan Terang Sirasun Batur, yaitu: Kerusakan kapal atau peralatan saat proses lifting, kalibrasi dynamic USBL yang tidak benar, dan buckling. Setelah ditemukan risiko dominan pada operasi instalasi pipa bawah laut, dilanjutkan dengan pengendalian risiko menggunakan metode Bowtie Analysis

Offshore oil and gas exploration requires subsea pipelines as a means of oil and gas transportation, a proven economical and efficient mode of oil and gas transportation. The subsea pipeline must be installed in a predetermined location before its operation. In the installation process, it can experience risks and have an impact on various aspects, ranging from the environment, business, and safety. Risk analysis and control are the main things that must be considered when installing subsea pipelines. This study discusses the underwater pipeline belonging to Kangean Energy Indonesia Ltd at the Terang Sirasun Batur Field. This study was conducted to determine the dominant risk and the causes and consequences, then continued risk control using the Bowtie Analysis method. In this study, three dominant risks were found during the installation of subsea pipelines at Terang Sirasun Batur Field: Damage to ships or equipment during the lifting process, incorrect dynamic USBL calibration, and buckling. After finding the dominant risk in the subsea pipeline installation operation, it continues with risk control using the Bowtie Analysis method
