Abstract

Seiring dengan bertambahnya kebutuhan gas alam di Indonesia menyebabkan banyak fasilitas pendukung yang dibangun untuk menunjang proses produksi. Salah satunya adalah proyek pemasangan riser dan spool ukuran 16” dan 6” di Wellhead Platform B (WHP-B) oleh PT. X. Tujuan dari PT. X adalah untuk memasang riser dan spool ukuran 16” dan 6” secara bersamaan di WHP-B. Kondisi perairan yang dangkal menjadi faktor kendala ketika menggunakan crane vessel untuk instalasi riser dan spool. Oleh karena itu PT. X menggunakan crawler crane yang dimobilisasi dengan barge untuk menginstal riser-spool 16”-6” secara bersamaan di jacket leg WHP-B. Agar instalasi riser-spool 16”-6” dapat dilakukan secara bersamaan PT. X menggunakan struktur sementara yaitu padeye-brace clamp yang berfungsi sebagai penjepit riser-spool 16”-6”. Agar kondisi instalasi dapat berlangsung aman, pengecekan safety factor (SF) untuk perlengkapan rigging dan unity check dari struktur padeye-brace clamp perlu dilakukan. Hasil analisis perlengkapan rigging yang digunakan memiliki nilai SF>4 saat riser-spool berada dalam kondisi in air, splash zone, dan submerged. Selain itu analisis SF dari crawler crane memiliki SF>1 sehingga riser-spool dapat dengan aman diturunkan hingga seabed. Dari hasil pemodelan global, kondisi riser-spool 16”-6” memiliki nilai UC paling maksimum sebesar 0,97 dengan tegangan bending vertikal 172,36 MPa saat kondisi splash zone. Dengan analisis lokal diketahui bahwa padeye-brace clamp masih berada dalam kondisi aman dengan tegangan von mises maksimum 2,42 MPa dan deformasi maksimum 0,0096 cm saat kondisi splash zone. Hasil analisis lokal menunjukan bahwa bagian padeye-brace clamp ke-3 berada dalam kondisi yang sangat aman ketika proses lifting-lowering.

With the increasing demand for natural gas in Indonesia, several supporting facilities have been built to help the production process. The installation of the 16" and 6" riser and spool by PT. X on Wellhead Platform B (WHP-B) is one of them. The 16" and 6" riser and spool are mounted together on WHP-B with PT. X. When using a crane vessel to install riser and spools, shallow water conditions are a problem. Therefore, PT. X simultaneously installed a 16"-6" riser spool on the jacket leg of WHP-B with a barge-mobilized crawler crane. A temporary construction called a padeye-brace clamp that functions as a 16"-6" riser-spool clip used by PT. X so that the installation of the riser-spool 16"-6" can be completed simultaneously. It is important to check the safety factor (SF) for the rigging equipment and the unity check of the padeye-brace clamp structure for the installation conditions to proceed safely. When the riser-spool is in air, splash zone, and submerged conditions, the evaluation of the rigging equipment in use gives a value of SF> 4. The riser-spool can be securely lowered to the seabed because of crawler crane's SF analysis has an SF>1 value. Based on the results of the global modeling, the 16"-6" riser-spool condition has a maximum UC value of 0.97 and vertical bending stress of 172.36 MPa while splash zone conditions are applied. The padeye-brace clamp is still in a safe condition, according to local analysis, with a maximum von Mises stress of 2.42 MPa and a maximum deformation of 0.0096 cm during the splash zone. Local analysis results show that the 3rd padeye-brace clamp section is in a very safe condition during the lifting-lowering process.
