Abstract

Keterlambatan merupakan masalah yang sering terjadi dalam sebuah proyek. Keterlambatan penyelesaian proyek dapat terjadi karena beberapa faktor. Faktor yang dapat menyebabkan keterlambatan yaitu cuaca yang tidak biasa, kekurangan peralatan, keterlambatan dalam desain, perubahan bahan baku, dan kekurangan sumber daya manusia. Dalam tugas akhir ini dilakukan skenario keterlambatan, sehingga perlu penjadwalan ulang. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat digunakan untuk mempercepat keterlambatan proyek yaitu dengan analisis What If. Analisis What If dapat digunakan untuk menstimulasikan keterlambatan pada model CPM atau jalur kritis. Dalam penggunaan What If pada model CPM, apabila terjadi keterlambatan pada pekerjaan yang terkena jalur kritis, maka predecesor atau pekerjaan selanjutnya yang terkena jalur kritis tersebut harus diberi percepatan agar total durasi pekerjaan tetap sesuai pada rencana awal dengan penambahan tenaga kerja dan jam kerja. Setelah itu, dilakukan perbandingan biaya ketika proyek dibiarkan terlambat dengan biaya ketika mengantisipasi keterlambatan proyek. Pada laporan ini didapatkan biaya mengantisipasi keterlambatan lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan biaya yang dikeluarkan jika proyek dibiarkan terlambat.

Delays are a frequent problem in a project. Delays in the completion of projects can occur due to several factors. Factors that can cause delays are unusual weather, equipment shortages, delays in design, changes in raw materials, and lack of human resources. In this final project, a delay scenario is carried out, so it needs to be rescheduled. One alternative that can be used to speed up project delays is with What If analysis. What If analysis can be used to stimulate delays in CPM models or critical paths. In the use of What If in the CPM model, if there is a delay in the work affected by the critical path, the predecesor or subsequent work affected by the critical path must be accelerated so that the total duration of the work remains in accordance with the original plan with the addition of manpower and working hours. After that, a comparison of costs when the project is left late with costs when anticipating project delays. In this report, it is found that the cost of anticipating delays is smaller than the costs incurred if the project is left late.
