Abstract

Salah satu hal yang sangat mendukung kelancaran kegiatan operasional dalam sebuah perusahaan yaitu mesin-mesin yang digunakan dalam proses produksi harus memiliki kondisi yang layak pakai untuk aktifitas produksi yang konsisten. Mesin merupakan salah satu komponen utama dalam melakukan aktifitas produksi. PLTU AMPANA Unit II merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang penyediaan dan memproduksi tenaga listrik dengan menggunankan bahan bakar batu bara yang terkadang dalam proses produksinya mengalami hambatan berupa permasalahan breakdown mesin yang tinggi, sehingga fenomena tersebut dapat menghambat jalannya proses produksi tenaga listrik yang berdampak pada penurunan produksi tenaga listrik yang akan disalurkan ke pelanggan. Perusahaan ini mempunyai kapasaitas daya mampu sebesar 3 MW dengan target produksi kwh jual sebesar 1.560.000 kWh per bulan untuk dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pasokan listrik pelanggan yang terdapat pada wilayah kerja PLN Unit Pelayanan Pelanggan (ULP) AMPANA. Akan tetapi pada kenyataannya perusahaan tersebut masih belum mampu memenuhi target tersebut di karenakan suatu hambatan di antaranya adalah terjadi kerusakan mesin yang sehingga meyebabkan terganggunya proses produksi penyediaan tenaga listrik. Untuk megukur tingkat reliability suatu komponen dapat menggunakan sejumlah parameter yang ada dalam teknik keandalan (reliability engineering). Parameter tersebut antara lain rata-rata lama pakai atau MTTF (Mean Time to Failure), MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) serta menggunakan metode Realibility Centered Maintenance II untuk mendapatkan kebijakan perawatan mesin yang tepat. Dalam penelitian ini telah menghasilkan beberapa kebijakan RCM antara lain predictive maintenance (schedule on condition task), preventive maintenance (schedule on discard task) dan proactive maintenance. Khusus untuk tindakan preventive maintenance diperoleh interval waktu optimum untuk seluruh komponen antara lain clipbar selama 95 jam, holder selama 195 jam, as round bar selama 550 jam dan rantai chain grate selama 250 jam.

One of the things that supports the smooth running of operational activities in a company is that the machines used in the production process must have proper conditions for consistent production activities. The machine is one of the main components in carrying out production activities. PLTU AMPANA Unit II is one of the companies engaged in providing and producing electricity using coal fuel, which sometimes experiences problems in the production process in the form of high engine breakdown problems so; that phenomenon can hinder the regulation of the electricity production process, which has an impact on reducing the production of electricity that will be distributed to customers. This company has a capable power capacity of 3 MW with a sales target of 1,560,000 kWh per month to meet the electricity supply needs of customers in the working area of PLN's Customer Service Unit (ULP) AMPANA. However, in reality, the company has not been able to meet this target due to an obstacle, including machine damage which disrupts the production process of electricity supply. To measure a component's reliability level, several parameters can be used in the silence technique (reliability engineering). These parameters include the average length of use or MTTF (Mean Time to Failure), MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), and the Reliability Centered Maintenance II method to get the right engine maintenance policy. This research has produced several RCM policies, including predictive maintenance (schedule on condition task), preventive maintenance (schedule on disposal task), and proactive maintenance. Specifically for preventive maintenance, an optimum time interval is required for all components, including the clipbar for 95 hours, the holder for 195 hours, the round bar for 550 hours, and the grate chain for 250 hours.
