Abstract

Kerja praktik merupakan salah satu mata kuliah wajib yang harus ditempuh oleh setiap mahasiswa, bertujuan untuk menambah wawasan dunia pasca kampus di bidang ketekniksipilan serta memberi gambaran mengenai keadaan di lapangan yang tidak sama dengan teori. Kerja praktik dilaksanakan selama 34 hari kerja dalam jangka waktu 2 bulan oleh dua mahasiswa semester 6 di proyek Jalan Tol Cimanggis – Cibitung Seksi 2. Proyek Pembangunan Jalan Tol Cimanggis - Cibitung Seksi 2 ini merupakan salah satu proyek dengan owner adalah PT. Cimanggis Cibitung Toll Ways yang dikerjakan oleh kontraktor utama adalah PT. Waskita Karya Tbk dengan konsultan manajemen konstruksi adalah PT. Virama Karya. Jalan Tol Cimanggis-Cibitung Seksi 2 merupakan kelanjutan dari pembangungan jalan Tol Cimanggis Seksi 1 yang merupakan bagian dari Jalan Tol Lingkar Luar Jakarta 2 Atau JORR 2. Terdapat 3 pekerjaan utama yang diamati antara lain adalah rigid pavement, stressing girder, dan erection girder. Stressing girder merupakan proses penarikan kabel tendon yang ada didalam girder untuk menjadikan girder sebagai beton prategang. Stressing yang dilakukan adalah jenis posttension dimana beton girder terlebih dahulu dicetak dengan memiliki tendon sebagai tempat instalasi strand. Pekerjaan Stressing Girder dilaksanakan dengan tahapan yang dimulai dari persiapan lahan stressing, instalasi sleeper dan girder, instalasi kabel strand, angkur, wedges, dan jack stressing. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan proses stressing, grouting, dan finishing. Beberapa kendala dan resiko dalam pekerjaan stressing girder antara lain adalah strand putus, girder miring, keterlambatan material, dan cuaca buruk. Proses kerja praktek ini bermanfaat dalam perkembangan ilmu ketekniksipilan kedepannya terutama dalam dunia pasca kampus nantinya ketika sudah bekerja. Selain itu, teori-teori yang didapatkan di kelas dapat disinkronasikan dengan kondisi yang ada di lapangan.

Practical work is one of the compulsory subjects that must be taken by every student, aiming to add insight into the post-campus world in the field of civil engineering and provide an overview of conditions in the field that are not the same as the theory. Practical work is carried out for 34 working days over 2 months by two 6th semester students in the Cimanggis – Cibitung Toll Road Section 2 project. The Cimanggis – Cibitung Toll Road Construction Project Section 2 is one of the projects with the owner being PT. Cimanggis Cibitung Toll Ways carried out by the main port is PT. Waskita Karya Tbk with construction management consultant is PT. Wirama Karya. Cimanggis-Cibitung Toll Road Section 2 is a continuation of the construction of the Cimanggis Toll Road Section 1 which is part of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road 2 or JORR 2. Stressing a girder is pulling the tendon cables inside the beam to make the girder a pre-stressed concrete. The stressing carried out is a type of post-tension where the girder concrete is printed first by having tendons as a place for strand installation. The Stressing Girder work is carried out in stages starting from preparing the stressing land, installing sleepers and girders, and installing strand cables, anchors, wedges, and stressing jacks. Then proceed with the process of stressing, grouting, and finishing. There are several obstacles and risks in stressing girder work, including broken strands, slanted girder, material delays, and bad weather. This practical work process is useful in the future development of civil engineering science, especially in the post-campus world when you are already working. In addition, the theories obtained in class can be synchronized with the conditions in the field.
