Abstract

Faktor kuantitas dan kualitas pakan merupakan faktor penentu keberhasilan usaha peternak karena hampir 60-80% biaya produksi berasal dari pakan. Industri pakan ternak ini memproduksi konsentrat dimana terjadinya defect produk disebabkan dari mesin karena material tidak homogen karena fasilitas lantai produksi yang hanya menggunakan satu mesin. Konsentrat digunakan untuk penggemukkan sapi dalam waktu relatif singkat, maka dari itu pakan yang diberikan haruslah yang memenuhi kebutuhan akan zat-zat gizi untuk mencapai pertambahan berat badan yang sebesar-besarnya. Zat-zat gizi tersebut adalah protein, energi, mineral, vitamin dan air. Operational excellence sebagai landasan sistem manajemen stratejik dalam mencermati adanya penyimpangan yang terjadi antara harapan manajemen dan kenyataan yang terjadi dengan tujuan mengurangi defect produk. Dengan mengimplementasikan Six Sigma untuk mengetauhi DPMO 23295 serta terdapat defect terbesar yaitu kebocoran line liquid, terdapat segregasi, dan terdapat gumpalan (ball) pada produk dengan Level sigma perusahaan berada pada 3,49 dan nilai kapabilitas proses sebesar 1,16. Adapun hasil FMEA, penyebab kebocoran line liquid yaitu kelebihan liquid dimana berat jenis material juga mempengaruhi. Berdasarkan analisa contradiction matrix dan 40 inventive principle, rekomendasi perbaikan untuk defect terbesar RPN nya kebocoran line liquid yaitu perlunya maintenance rutin dan pembersihan komponen mixer dengan sikat dari baja dan menambahkan mineral sebelum produksi sebagai penyerap. Perbaikan yang direkomendasikan melalui TRIZ berfokus pada KPI operations, management, quality, dan social.

Feed quantity and quality factors are determining factors for the success of a farmer's business because almost 60-80% of production costs come from feed. This animal feed industry produces concentrate where product defects occur due to machines because the material is not homogeneous because the production floor facilities only use one machine. Concentrate is used to fatten cattle in a relatively short time, therefore the feed given must meet the need for nutrients to achieve maximum weight gain. These nutrients are protein, energy, minerals, vitamins and water. Operational excellence as the basis for a strategic management system in observing any deviations that occur between management's expectations and the reality that occurs with the aim of reducing product defects. By implementing Six Sigma to know DPMO 23295 and there is the biggest defect, namely line liquid leakage, there is segregation, and there are lumps (balls) on the product with the company's sigma level at 3.49 and a process capability value of 1.16. As for the FMEA results, the cause of leakage of the liquid line is excess liquid where the density of the material also affects it. Based on the analysis of the contradiction matrix and 40 inventive principles, recommendations for improvement for the biggest RPN defect are line liquid leaks, namely the need for routine maintenance and cleaning of mixer components with a steel brush and adding minerals before production as absorbents. The improvements recommended through TRIZ focus on operations, management, quality, and social KPIs.
