Abstract

Proses estimasi biaya adalah hal penting yang harus dilakuakan dalam menentukan kelayakan ekonomis sebelum memulai sebuah proyek, termasuk diantaranya proyek pembangunan galangan kapal bangunan baru. Dalam melakukan proses estimasi, diperlukan adanya kemahiran dari seorang estimator mengenai hal yang ingin diestimasi. Akan tetapi, pemahaman dan pengalaman yang dibutuhkan dalam melakukan estimasi membutuhkan waktu yang lama untuk didapat. Oleh karena itu, tujuan utama dari tugas akhir ini adalah merancang aplikasi komputer untuk melatih kemahiran intuitif calon estimator dalam mengestimasi biaya investasi galangan kapal bangunan baru. Pertama, dilakukan review mengenai metode estimasi biaya investasi galangan kapal bangunan baru yang relevan, yaitu metode parametrik. Kedua, metode pengambilan keputusan secara intuitif, yaitu metode Keputusan Dipicu Pengenalan (KDP) diimplementasikan ke dalam metode estimasi yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya. Ketiga, responden dan menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa aplikasi dapat meningkatkan keahlian intuitif calon estimator dalam mengestimasi biaya investasi galangan kapal bangunan baru. Pernyataan "Paired T-Test (Pre-Post)" ke sepuluh responden dengan rentang kritis sebesar 5% dan menghasilkan nilai "t" dan "t tabel" sebesar 11,53 > 2,262

The cost estimation process is an important thing that must be done in determining the economic feasibility before starting a project, including the project of building a new shipyard. In carrying out the estimation process, it is necessary to have the expertise of an estimator regarding the thing to be estimated. However, the understanding and experience required in estimating takes a long time to acquire. Therefore, the main objective of this final project is to design a computer application to train the intuitive skills of potential estimators in estimating investment costs for new building shipyards. First, a review is carried out regarding the method of estimating the relevant new building shipyard investment costs, namely the parametric method. Second, an intuitive decision-making method, namely the Recognition Triggered Decision (KDP) method, is implemented into a predetermined estimation method. Third, the respondents concluded that the application can improve the intuitive skills of potential estimators in estimating investment costs for new building shipyards.
