Abstract

Penelitian ini akan membahas mengenai peramalan persediaan spare part di perusahaan maintenance, repair, and operation (MRO) yang berpusat di Jakarta. Permasalahan yang kerap terjadi yaitu ketersediaan spare part yang tidak banyak dan hanya beberapa varietas yang tersedia di gudang perusahaan. Jika terdapat permintaan komponen dan stok di gudang tidak ada, maka departemen purchasing akan memesankan ke manufaktur utama sesuai nilai purchase order pelanggan. Disisi lain kebijakan ini mempunyai kekurangan yaitu responsiveness pelanggan dan on time delivery yang rendah. Pentingnya evaluasi perencaan material di perusahaan dari sisi manajerial dan teknis yaitu untuk memperbaiki perencanaan persediaan yang ada di gudang, sehingga dapat menaikkan tingkat responsive dan on time delivery terutama untuk pembelian yang bersifat mendadak. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan metode economic quantity order, periodic review system, dan continuous review system untuk memetakan pembelian ekonomis mengacu pada data riwayat pembelian aktual dan keiajka perusahaan. Dari perhitungan tersebut didapat nilai persediaan dengan metode CRS lebih efisien dan total biaya inventory lebih murah. Pada kategori A, pembelian ekonomis mengacu pada kebijakan perusahaan yaitu 14 unit & total biaya inventory Rp. 2,492,533,255, pada kategori B pembelian ekonomis mengacu pada riwayat pembelian yaitu 7 unit & total biaya inventory Rp. 650,460,430, dan kategori C pembelian ekonomis mengacu pada kebijakan perusahaan yaitu 8 unit & total biaya inventory Rp. 61,156,561.

This research will discuss the forecasting of spare part inventory in a maintenance, repair, and operation (MRO) company based in Jakarta. The problem that often occurs is the availability of spare parts that are not many and only a few varieties are available in the company's warehouse. If there is a component request and there is no stock in the warehouse, the purchasing department will place an order to the main manufacturer according to the value of the customer's purchase order. On the other hand, this policy has drawbacks, namely low customer responsiveness and on time delivery. The importance of evaluating material planning in companies from a managerial and technical perspective is to improve inventory planning in warehouses, to increase responsiveness and on time delivery, especially for sudden purchases. To overcome these problems, this study uses the economic order quantity method, periodic review system, and continuous review system to map economic purchases referring to actual purchase history data and company policies. From these calculations it is obtained that the inventory value with the CRS method is more efficient, thus the total cost of inventory is cheaper. In category A, economical purchases refer to company policy, namely 14 units & a total inventory cost of Rp. 2,492,533,255, in category B economic purchases refer to the purchase history of 7 units & total inventory cost of Rp. 650,460,430, and category C economic purchase refers to company policy, namely 8 units & total inventory cost of Rp. 61,156,561
