Abstract
Tugas akhir ini menghitung diameter dan pemilihan tebal pipa yang optimum di Lapangan Gas Ujung Pangkah Kabupaten Gresik yang dicari dengan berbagai macam kendala antara lain faktor desain, tegangan melingkar, tegangan longitudinal, tegangan gabungan, tekanan kritis buckling, dan perambatan buckling . Untuk menyelesaikan persoalan optimasi tersebut digunakan metode interior penalti . Setelah hasil optimasi didapat maka diperhitungkan syarat kestabilan pipa dengan menghitung gaya hidrostatis pipa. Dengan dibantu software LINGO yang divalidasi dengan SOLVER maka didapatkan nilai ketebalan sebesar 15,6 mm atau 0,618 inchi dengan diameter luar pipa sebesar 16 inchi dengan grade pipa X-65 (Standar API). Alternatif grade material lain adalah grade pip a X 60 (Standar API) dengan tebal pipa sebesar 16,89 mm atau 0,665 inchi dengan diameter pipa sebesar 18 inchi. Analisa lebih lanjut pada ketebalan memberikan hasil bahwa pipa relatif lebih aman terhadap stabilitas lateral serta hidrotest pipa.

This Final Project is estimate diameter and optimum pipe wall thickness on Ujung Pangkah Gas Field Gresik which searched by many constraint such as design factor, hoop stress, longitudinal stress, equivalent stress, critical buckling stress, and propagation buckling. To get the optimization, the interior penalty method is being used . After the optimization gave the result then the pipe stability is calculated by estimated hydrostatic force of pipe it self. LINGO and SOLVER softwares are being used to analyse and validate. Pipe thickness of 15,6 mm (0,618 inch) with pipe diameter of 16 inch on X 65 (API Standard) of pipe grade is a result of this final project. Alternative of grade other material is grade X 60 (API Standard) with pipe thickness 16,89 mm (0,665 inch) and 18 inch of diameter.Further analyse of lateral stability and pipe hidrotest shows that the pipe is save.
