Abstract
Peningkatan kapasitas produksi suatu industri berbanding lurus dengan emisi karbondioksida yang dihasilkan. Proses penyerapan emisi karbondioksida memerlukan perhatian khusus dan utama sebelum dikembalikan ke lingkungan agar tidak menimbulkan dampak negatif baik bagi lingkungan maupun bagi manusia. PT. X adalah salah satu produsen pakan ternak terbesar di Indonesia yang terletak di Provinsi Jawa Timur. Produksi pakan ternak terdiri dari proses intake, dossing, grinding, mixing, pelletizing, cooling, crumbling, sieving dan packing. Pada Tahun 2022, PT. X memproduksi 435.270 Ton pakan ternak. Berdasarkan jumlah produksi yang besar di atas, maka akan berdampak pada meningkatnya produksi CO2 dari kegiatan kendaraan alat berat, penggunaan gas LPG, penggunaan mesin industri, serta penggunaan bahan bakar di Industri PT. X. Dengan besarnya skala kegiatan industri yang dilakukan tentunya memerlukan pengawasan yang ketat terhadap penyerapan emisi karbondioksida agar tidak menimbulkan dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan dan manusia. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis besaran beban emisi CO2 serta emisi lain yang dihasilkan dari proses produksi oakan ternak dan untuk mengevaluasi kecukupan ruang terbuka hijau (RTH) di Industri PT. X dalam menyerap emisi CO2. Penelitian ini menganalisis besaran emisi CO2 dan emisi lain yang disebabkan dari proses produksi pakan ternak PT. X. Metode penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah life cycle inventory (LCI) yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jumlah emisi karbondioksida yang dihasilkan. Beban emisi CO2 dihitung dengan persamaan IPCC tier 2. Nilai kalor dan faktor emisi yang digunakan berdasarkan Pedoman Menteri Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan. Kemudian daya serap RTH dihitung dengan daya serap masing-masing vegetasi. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, didapatkan bahwa berdasarkan perhitungan proyeksi emisi karbondioksida yaitu sebesar 1.249 Ton pada tahun 2022 dengan daya serap vegetasi yang dimilki PT. X baru sebesar 462 Ton per tahun. Oleh karena itu, bisa disimpulkan bahwa PT. X masih perlu mengoptimalisasi ruang terbuka hijau yang sudah ada dengan cara menambah tutupan vegetasi dan menambah vegetasi di sekitar area dalam serta luar perusahaan agar dapat menyerap karbondioksida yang dihasilkan

The increase in production capacity of an industry is directly proportional to the carbon dioxide emissions produced. The absorption process of carbon dioxide emissions requires special and primary attention before being returned to the environment so as not to cause negative impacts on both the environment and humans. PT X is one of the largest animal feed producers in Indonesia located in East Java Province. Animal feed production consists of intake, dossing, grinding, mixing, pelletizing, cooling, crumbling, sieving and packing processes. In 2022, PT X produced 435,270 tons of animal feed. Based on the large amount of production above, it will have an impact on increasing CO2 production from heavy equipment vehicle activities, LPG gas use, industrial machinery use, and fuel use in PT. X Industry. With the large scale of industrial activities carried out, of course, it requires strict supervision of the absorption of carbon dioxide emissions so as not to cause negative impacts on the environment and humans. The purpose of this study is to analyze the amount of CO2 emission load and other emissions generated from the production process of animal feed and to evaluate the adequacy of green open space (RTH) in PT X Industry in absorbing CO2 emissions. This research analyzes the amount of CO2 emissions and other emissions caused by PT X's animal feed production process. The research method to be used is life cycle inventory (LCI) which aims to identify the amount of carbon dioxide emissions produced. The CO2 emission load is calculated using the IPCC tier 2 equation. The calorific value and emission factor used are based on the Guidelines of the Minister of Environment and Forestry. Then the absorption capacity of the green space is calculated with the absorption capacity of each vegetation.. From the results of the research conducted, it was found that based on the calculation of projected carbon dioxide emissions of 1.249 tons in 2022 with the absorption capacity of the new vegetation owned by PT. X amounting to 462 tons per year. Therefore, it can be concluded that PT X still needs to optimize the existing green open space by increasing vegetation cover and adding vegetation around the inside and outside areas of the company in order to absorb the carbon dioxide produced
