Abstract

Adanya pandemi membuat perekonomian dunia terganggu. Indonesia tentunya terkena dampaknya dan salah satu yang terasa dampaknya adalah IKM Logam Ngingas. IKM Logam Ngingas ini memiliki lebih dari 300 UKM yang berperan sebagai pemasok komponen kepada perusahaan manufaktur di Indonesia. Dengan adanya pandemi membuat pendapatan dari IKM mengalami penurunan. Dengan era pemulihan saat ini diharapkan IKM Logam Ngingas dapat meningkatkan kinerja bisnisnya. Peran dari kepemimpinan juga penting untuk meningkatkan kinerja bisnis dikarena kepemimpinan dapat mengarahkan perusahaan sesuai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Adanya perbedaan Generasi juga membuat perbedaan mengenai kepemimpinan mengambil sikap. Berdasarkan pemaparan diatas, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dampak kepemimpinan Generasi X dan Generasi Milenial terhadap kapabilitas inovasi teknologi dan kinerja bisnis pada IKM Logam Ngingas Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Survei digunakan untuk mengumpulan data dan data akan diolah menggunakan metode PLS-SEM. Serta uji sobel digunakan dalam menguji variabel kapabilitas teknologi inovasi sebagai variabel mediasi. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil analisis SmartPLS menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan berpengaruh langsung terhadap kapabilitas teknologi inovasi pada Generasi X dan Generasi Milenial, kepemimpinan berpengaruh langsung dan terhadap kinerja bisnis pada Generasi X dan Generasi Milenial.

The pandemic has disrupted the world economy. Indonesia has certainly been affected, and one of those affected is Ngingas Metal SMEs. Ngingas has more than 300 SMEs that act as component suppliers to manufacturing companies in Indonesia. With the pandemic, the income of SMEs has decreased. With the current recovery era, it is expected that Ngingas Metal SMEs can improve their business performance. The role of leadership is also important to improve business performance because leadership can direct the company according to predetermined goals. Generational differences also make a difference when it comes to leadership taking a stance. Based on the explanation above, this study aims to identify the impact of Generation X and Millennial Generation leadership on technological innovation capabilities and business performance at Ngingas Metal SME Sidoarjo. This research is descriptive and quantitative. Surveys are used to collect data, and the data will be processed using the PLS-SEM method. And the Sobel test is used in testing the innovation technology capability variable as a mediating variable. The software used in this research is SmartPLS 3.0. With this research, it is hoped that the Ngingas Sidoarjo Metal SME business actors can be helped through technological innovation capability as a mediating variable that has a relationship with leadership and business performance. The results of the SmartPLS analysis show that leadership has a direct effect on technology innovation capabilities in Generation X and Millennials, leadership has a direct effect on business performance in Generation X and Millennials.
