Abstract

Kompresor adalah suatu peralatan yang berfungsi untuk mengalirkan atau menambah energi (tekanan) pada fluida kerjanya dalam hal ini adalah fluida kompresibel. Pada industri migas, terdapat satu komponen penting yang berperan besar dalam membantu proses pengolahan gas yang terdapat pada crude oil , yaitu kompresor. Kompresor mengalirkan gas dari satu komponen ke komponen yang lain dengan tujuan agar gas mendapat kenaikan tekanan dan dapat memasuki komponen lain sesuai dengan tekanan yang diijinkan pada alat tersebut. Gas yang terbawa oleh crude oil merupakan gas dengan sebutan sour gas atau hydrogen sulfide ( H2S ) yang merupakan gas beracun dan sangat berbahaya apabila sampai terlepas di udara bebas. Oleh karena itu dilakukan perhitungan ulang instalasi kompresor yang melayani aliran sour gas hingga masuk kedalam Sulfur Recovery Unit ( SRU ). Setelah dilakukan perhitungan maka akan diketahui brapa daya yang dibutuhkan kompresor untuk beroperasi. Dari hasil perhitungan didapatkan kapasitas perhari sebesar 2949,675 m3/jam, dengan daya 411,564 KW lebih rendah dari daya yang tertera pada name plate yang sebesar 413 KW, kerugian tekanan yang terjadi pada sepanjang instalasi kompresor adalah sebesar 42620 Pa. Dan perbandingan antara perhitungan manual dan perhitungan numerik dengan software pipe flow expert didapat hasil dengan tingkat kesalahan sebesar 0,73%. ======================================================================================================= The compressor is a device that serves to drain or add energy (pressure) at work in this fluid is a compressible fluid. In the oil and gas industry, there is one important component that plays a major role in helping the processing of gas contained in crude oil, the compressor. Compressor gas flow from one component to another with the purpose to increase the gas pressure and can get into the another component in accordance with the allowable pressure on the tools. The gas is carried away by crude oil as sour gas or hydrogen sulfide gas (H2S) is a toxic and dangerous gases to be separated when in free air. Therefore the re-calculation is done compressor installations that serve sour gas streams to enter the Sulfur Recovery Unit (SRU). After calculation it will be known how much power is required to operate the compressor From the calculation results obtained by 2949.675 m3 per day capacity, the power is lower than 411.564 KW of power indicated on the name plate is 413 KW, pressure losses that occur during the installation of the compressor is equal to 42 620 Pa. And the comparison between manual calculations and numerical calculations with software pipe flow expert the results obtained with an error rate of 0.73%.
