Abstract

==============================================================================The building of Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya is located on the street A. Yani 117, Surabaya. This building consists of 7 floors and steel roof. Based on the results of Standard Penetration Test (SPT), it is found that this building is built on soil with soft soil conditions and included in the category of seismic design D. The building uses double system in its planning that is Special Moment Frame Response System and Shear walls.
In this final project will be modified by using only Special Moment Frame System (SRPMK) which resulted in changes to dimension of the structure and the height of the building which was originally 7 floors designed to be 8 floors. Calculation of structure and earthquake follow the applicable regulations, as followed SNI 1726:2012, SNI 1727:2013, SNI 2847:2013, dan SNI 1729-2015. The calculation of structure contained of mass analysis, structure modeling, calculation of reinforcements, and checking the requirements of structural elements.
Building design calculation results include two sizes of beam 600 x 700 mm and 450 x 700 mm, two sizes of secondary beam 300 x 400 mm dan 200 x 300 mm, and two sizes of columns, floor 1-5 850 x 850 mm, floor 6 - Roof 750 x 750 mm. As well, there are also calculations of reinforcement of concrete main structure, beams, and columns. Also, the secondary elements as slab and stairs that would be poured in the form of engineering drawings.
