Abstract

Motor induksi tiga fasa merupakan jenis motor yang paling sering digunakan pada proses produksi di industri. Karena memiliki banyak variasi dalam rangkaiannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan motor Induksi 3 fasa rotor sangkar tupai dengan variasi dua tegangan. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui performa motor dalam kondisi tanpa beban dan berbeban dengan variasi beban mulai dari 15,55 watt – 60,4 watt. Beban yang digunakan adalah lampu pijar yang memiliki daya tiap lampunya 5 watt dengan total 12 lampu. Percobaan tanpa beban mendapat hasil berupa cos ϕ sebesar 0,41 dan I line sebesar 1,53 ampere dengan daya masukan sebesar 124 watt dari supply tegangan sebesar 114 volt. Sedangkan pada supply tegangan sebesar 198 volt, mendapat hasil berupa cos ϕ sebesar 0,42 dan I line sebesar 0,87 ampere dengan daya masukan sebesar 127 watt. Pada kondisi beban maksimal, diperoleh torsi sebesar 1,517 Nm, effisiensi 74% dan daya motor sebesar 201,33 watt pada supply tegangan 114 volt. Sedangkan pada supply tegangan 198 volt, diperoleh torsi sebesar 1,509 Nm , slip 0,1507, effisiensi 74% dan daya keluaran motor sebesar 201,33 watt. Motor induksi 3 fasa rotor sangkar tupai dua tegangan kurang cocok untuk digunakan sebagai penggerak bow thruster karena tidak dapat diatur putaran motornya.

Three-phase induction motors are the most commonly types of motor used in industrial productioon processes. Because it has many variations in electrical sirkuit. This study using three phase asynchronous motor of squirrel cage rotor with two voltages. It was conducted to determine the performance of the motor in the condition of loaded and without with load variations ranging from 15.55 watts - 60.4 watts. The load used in the form of an fluoroscent lamp and each lamp has 5 watt electrical power with a total of 12 lamps. Result without loaded experiment in cos φ of 0.41 and I line of 1.53 amperes with an input power of 124 watts from a supply voltage of 114 volts. While the supply voltage of 198 volts, got results in the form of cos φ of 0.42 and I line of 0.87 ampere with input power of 127 watt. At maximum load condition, 1.517 Nm of torque, 74% efficiency and motor power of 201.33 watts at 114 volt supply. While the supply voltage of 198 volts, obtained torque of 1.509 Nm, slip 0.1507, 74% efficiency and motor output power of 201.33 watts. The 3-phase induction motors of the two-voltage squirrel cage rotor are less suitable to be used as bow thruster drives due to unregulated motor rotation.
