Abstract

Fungsi turbin angin sebagai penghasil listrik tentu diharapkan dapat beroperasi secara terus-menerus agar pasokan listrik selalu tersedia. Sehingga turbin angin perlu dipantau atau diamati kinerjanya, olerh karena itu dilakukan perancangan sistem monitoring kinerja turbin angin tipe darrieus sumbu vertikal berdasarkan putaran rotor pada generator. Pada perancangan sistem monitoring ini, sensor yang digunakan untuk mengukur adalah sensor anemometer, sensor arus ACS712, sensor voltage, sensor rotary encoder. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan arus, tegangan, rpm, serta daya yang dihasilkan ketika turbin angin berputar. Range kecepatan angin yang digunakan pada tugas akhir ini adalah antara 5 m/s hingga 7 m/s. Bentuk dan material bilah atau blade yang digunakan mempengaruhi keluaran arus, tegangan, daya dan juga rpm.

The function of wind turbines as electricity producers is certainly expected to operate continuously so that the supply of electricity is always available. So that the wind turbine needs to be monitored or observed its performance, olerh because it is designed system of performance monitoring of wind turbine type darrieus vertical axis based on rotor rotation on the generator. In designing this monitoring system, the sensor used to measure is anemometer sensor, ACS712 current sensor, voltage sensor, rotary encoder sensor. From the test data monitoring system obtained results that at wind speed. From the results of this study obtained the current, voltage, rpm, and the power generated when the wind turbine spins. The wind speed range used in this final project is between 5 m / s to 7 m / s. The blade shape and material used affects the output current, voltage, power and also rpm.
