Abstract

Secara umum bagian sepatu terdiri dari Kap (Upper) dan Sole. Komponen sole terbuat dari plastik. Cetakan adalah kunci utama untuk membuat produk plastik sehingga diperlukan suatu cetakan dengan spesifikasi yang baik. Pengetahuan tentang desain mold diperlukan untuk mendapatkan produk dengan kualitas yang baik dimana produk tersebut ditentukan oleh dimensi mold, perhitungan cetakan dan proses injeksi itu sendiri. Metodologi pada penelitian ini yaitu melakukan machining persiapan kemudian melakukan proses assembly antara sisi moving plate dengan fix plate, setelah itu dilakukan pengujian dengan mesin injeksi Kingsteel Taiwan Rotary Type KS 177 H20/30. Apabila terdapat cacat pada hasil produk sole maka harus dianalisa penyebabnya, jika penyebabnya pada cetakan maka harus dilakukan machining repair. Dari hasil analisa dan pembahasan yang telah dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa besarnya gaya injeksi yang diberikan mesin 68,38 ton mampu ditahan oleh gaya pencekaman cetakan sebesar 75,21 ton. Gaya pencekaman cetakan tersebut mampu menahan besarnya gaya injeksi yang diberikan pada cetakan karena besarnya gaya pencekaman maksimum cetakan 80 ton. Sedangkan pada sistem saluran (sprue, runner dan gate) serta venting cetakan rotary injection molding memiliki perbedaan penempatan dan bentuk dengan cetakan injection molding. ================================================================================================================== Generally, shoe parts are consisted of kap and sole. Sole component were made of plastic. Mold is holding key role to create plastic product and for that reason a careful and mature planning are need. Certain knowledge of mold design are needed to create product with high quality where those product are determined by mold dimension, setting and injection process itself. The methodology in this study is to do preparatory machining and then do the assembly process between the sides of the moving plate with a fix plate, after that testing with a Taiwan Rotary Kingsteel injection machine Type KS 177 H20 / 30. If there is a defect in the sole product, the cause must be analyzed, if the cause is in the mold, machining repair must be carried out. The analysis result and discussion that has been done are magnitude of injection force given 68.38 ton machine be able to hold by mold clamp force of 75.21 ton. The mold clamp force be able to hold the magnitude of the injection force given to the mold because size of maximum molding force of 80 tons.While in the runner system (sprue, runner and gate) as well as venting rotary injection molding molds have different placement and shape with injection molding mold.
