Abstract

Berdasarkan data Rejection Proving Departement bulan Januari – Maret
2016, persentase produk cacat kikir slim taper sangat tinggi yaitu
32,52%. PT Jaykay Files Indonesia belum pernah melakukan pengujian
sistem pengukuran terhadap inspektor. Pengujian ini dilakukan untuk
mengetahui kapabilitas inspektor dalam melakukan inspeksi visual.
Apabila hasil pengujian sistem pengukuran terhadap inspektor valid,
maka data hasil inspeksi visual yang dilakukan inspektor sesuai dengan
keadaan proses produksi. Selama ini perusahaan melakukan
pengendalian kualitas sebatas deskriptif. Sehingga perlu melakukan
analisis lebih mendalam pada proses produksi menggunakan analisis
kapabilitas proses. Metode ini dapat mengetahui proses produksi
kapabel atau tidak. Hasil pengujian terhadap sistem pengukuran
menggunakan Attribute Agreement Analysis menunjukkan bahwa
inspeksi visual yang dilakukan oleh kedua inspektor mempunyai tingkat
kesepakatan yang sedang. Indeks kapabilitas proses produksi kikir slim
taper fase I dan fase II masing-masing sebesar 0,309 dan 0,334. Proses
produksi kikir slim taper pada kedua fase tidak kapabel. Level sigma
proses produksi keseluruhan adalah 2,89 sigma. Jenis cacat paling
dominan yaitu crack yang termasuk dalam kategori critical defect.
Faktor penyebab utama crack yaitu dekarburisasi dan underheat.
Prioritas tindakan perbaikan yang harus dilakukan yaitu penambahan
jumlah sampel saat pengecekan ketebalan dekarburisasi, pengecekan
thermocouple secara rutin dan training operator.

Based on data from Rejection Proving Department in January – March
2016, the defects percentage of Slim Taper product as high as 32.52%.
PT. Jaykay Files Indonesia never held a measurement test to the
inspector. This measurement is to performed an accuracy determination
of the inspector in visual inspection. If the results show a valid
measurement from the inspector, then the data from visual inspection
was in accordance with the state of the production process. From the
whole time, PT. Jaykay Files Indonesia doing a quality control
inspection only for a descriptive. Thus, a deeper analysis urgently
needed for the production process using capability analysis. This
method can determine a capability of a production process. The test
results of the measurement system using Attribute Agreement Analysis of
inspectors indicates a mediocre degree of agreement beyond chance in
their visual inspection. Capability process Index for phase I and phase
II is 0,309 and 0,334. Thus, process of slim taper production in phase I
and phase II are not capable. Sigma level of overall process production
is 2,89 sigma. The most defective cause is crack from critical defect
category. The main cause of crack are decarburization and underheat.
For the priority improvement actions are adding sample numbers when
checking the thickness of decaburization, thermocouple checks regularly
and held a training for operators.
