Abstract

Penanganan limbah sekam padi saat ini umumnya
ingin memanfaatkan kandungan Silika (SiO2) pada sekam
padi yang telah dibakar (abu sekam padi). Kandungan silika
yang diperoleh dapat dimanfaatkan dalam pembuatan material
inovatif seperti Natrium Super Ionic Conductor (NASICON).
Pada penelitian ini, pembentukan NASICON menggunakan
metode sol-gel dari, Na2SiO3, H3PO4 dan ZrOCl.8H2O dengan
variasi temperatur sintering yakni 900oC, 1000oC dan
1100oC. Pengujian SEM, XRD, FTIR, dan LRC dilakukan
untuk mengetahui fasa, struktur, gugus fungsi, dan
konduktifitas yang dimilikinya. Dari hasil pengujian diketahui
bahwa fasa NASICON yang paling baik diperoleh pada
temperatur 900oC yaitu Na3Zr2Si2PO12 , kemudian nilai
konduktivitas ionik tertinggi juga diperoleh pada NASICON
dengan temperatur 900oC sebesar 0,241x10-6 S/cm

Rice husk waste handling today generally want to
utilize the content of silica (SiO2) on rice husks that have been
burned (rice husk ash). The content of silica obtained can be
used in the manufacture of innovative materials such as
sodium Super Ionic Conductor (NASICON). In this study, the
formation of NASICON obtained by using sol-gel method,
Na2SiO3, H3PO4 and ZrOCl.8H2O with the sintering
temperature variation of 900oC, 1000oC and 1100oC. SEM,
XRD, FTIR, and LRC were conducted to determine the phase,
structure, functional groups, and its conductivity. From the
test results it is known that most good NASICON phase
obtained at 900oC is Na3Zr2Si2PO12, then the highest ionic
conductivity values were also obtained in NASICON with
temperatures of 900oC for 0,241x10-6S/cm.
